I went to Tyler's room first and got all his stuff. I put it into a bag and then went to the bathroom to get more of his stuff. When I knew, everything was packed; I went to my room. I owned three shirts, two jeans, and two pairs of shoes; this was not counting the things that I was wearing. I put them all out on my bed so that when I did my bag they were easily available. I also owned some CDs of my favorite artist, and even had some magazines they were on. Soon I heard the door open and then someone sat next to me. "We will go shopping for new things." Demi said. "You don't have to buy me new things." I said. "I do. I'm your new mom, and as your new mom I will be spoiling you." She said. "Well I need to get my things out of the bathroom. I'll be right back." I said. "I'm coming with you." She said. "Why?" I asked. "You really don't know?" She asked. "No." I said cautiously. "Well I self-harmed and I want to make sure you don't." She said. "Okay. Then follow me." I said. I stood up quickly and then ran to the bathroom. I have never self-harmed, but people here did. Demi came running into the bathroom and smiled when she saw me. "I thought you were doing something bad to yourself. I'm glad you don't." She said. "I don't, but some people here do. I've heard seeing somethings can trigger you, and I didn't want that to happen to you." I said. "Aww. Thank you." She said walking closer to me. She pulled me into a tight hug causing me to tense and freak out. "Hey, it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you." She whispered. She was also brushing my hair with her hand in a soothing way. I calmed down in her arms and soon hugged her back. "See everything is alright. I won't hurt you ever." She said. "Now get whatever you need. When you bring it back here I will go through it." She said. She walked out and stood in the hallway. Guess she didn't want to risk her recovery. I wouldn't either.
I looked all over the bathroom and then found all my things. This was hopefully going to be my last time here so I wanted to make sure I got everything. I put everything into a bag and then walked out. "Here you go." I said handing her the bag. "Thank you." She said as she took the bag. "Do you shave?" She asked. "Yes." I said. "Okay." She said. "You're good then." She added handing me the bag back. "So, do you want to be homeschooled?" She asked. "I don't care. Do whatever is easier for you." I said. "I don't know what you would prefer, but if I might go on tour you will come." She said. "If I might go on tour why don't I just get homeschooled so I don't have to worry about missing any school." I suggested. "That is not a bad idea, but what will we do with Tyler?" She asked. "We can always help him learn new things. With us traveling a lot we could always use that to our advantage. You just better not teach him any curse words." I said. "I won't. You do bring up clever ideas with the fact that we will be traveling a lot. You both could learn while we are in different states and countries." She said. "Especially about the place itself. I mean we will get the best history there." I said. "Okay. I guess this means you will be home schooled." She said. "Then I guess the school problem has been answered." I said with a small laugh. She laughed too and then smiled. We walked back into my room and she stood in the doorway. "You don't have to stand there, you can come in here." I said. "Fine." She said. "I'd tell you to sit, but I might need help." I said. "What do you need help with?" She asked. "Can you get all of my albums and put them in the bottom of my bag?" I asked. "Sure. Do you own any of mine?" She asked. "I believe I own Demi. I' not too sure though." I said. "It's okay if you don't." She said. "Okay." I said.
I grabbed all my shirts, pants, and shoes and put them into the bag next. Then I got all my magazines and put them on top of my clothes very carefully. "You're good at packing." She said. "I'm not stupid. I also never really had a lot to care about." I said. "Well except for Tyler." I added. "You must really like the kid." She said. "Well he never had anyone try to adopt him, but that's because he would cry a lot." I said. "That's a stupid reason not to adopt a kid." She said. "People are very picky when it comes to adopting kids." I said. "That sucks." She said. "It does especially when they change their mind about adopting." I said. I slowly got up and then grabbed my bag. "We can leave now." I said. "Good." She said.
