"Waven, wake up." Tyler whispered. If you sleep with Tyler, he will wake you up. "Hi Tyler." I whispered. "I hugwy." He said. "Let's go get food then." I said quietly. "Yeah!" He said a little loud. "Sh." I said. "Otay." He whispered. I got up and lifted him up onto my hip. "Let's change and then get the food." I said. "Otay." He said. I got him some clothes and changed him quickly. "Stay here." I said pointing to where he was. I went to get me some clothes and then went into the bathroom to take shower. When I was finished with my shower, I put the outfit on I had out for me.

I walked out of the bathroom and walked over to Tyler. "Ready?" I asked. "Yes." He said excitedly. I picked him up and walked into the kitchen. "I have to leave them a note." I said. "Otay." He said. I quickly wrote a note to Demi and her family telling them we will be out. "Where are you going?" Someone asked. I turned around to see Maddie there with a smirk. "Out for breakfast. I'm not going to wake anyone up, so if you want to come you can." I said. "I'm going to tell Demi." She said smiling. "Do it. I don't care. I can leave in two years." I said. Maddie's smile and smirk slowly started to leave her face. "I'll fight for Tyler's guardianship from Demi." I added. Maddie looked at me before going back upstairs. "Tyler, you are going to stay here so you don't get into trouble." I said. "Otay." He said sounding sad. "I promise to bring you food." I said. "Otay." He said happily.

I started to walk down the street towards the nearest McDonald's. I had grabbed some of my money before I had left my room. Sadly, but also right now I'm excited because I don't have a phone. I do have an iPod that I can listen to music on, I just can't make calls or anything like that. I know that when I get home I will get into so much trouble. I am used to getting into trouble anyway.

I got to McDonald's and ordered Tyler and I's normal breakfast. I also ordered myself an ice coffee. I really don't like coffee, but I do like some types of coffee. When they called the number for my order, I grabbed it and left. Many adults looked at me weird, but it didn't bother me. Why should I care about how other people feel about me? I may look like a pastel goth, but once you have my trust I'm very nice and happy. I was walking home hoping no one was up but Tyler.

When I got home I saw Tyler looking from the door and saw him smile. It looked like he turned around and talked to someone behind him. Soon I saw Demi walk towards the door and then she came out of the house. She walked to me because I had stopped thinking my mind was making everything up. "For a while I thought Maddie was making this up, but even Tyler said you were doing this." She said running her hand through her hair. "I'm sorry, I just didn't want to wake you up." I said. "Next time you better do that. You don't even have a phone for me to get a hold of you for god's sake. If you ever do this again you're dead." She said. Man, she can get scary. "I'm sorry." I said. "I would say it's okay but it isn't. Go inside we will talk later." She said.

I walked up to the door and opened it. Tyler came running at me, but stopped when I gave him the look. "Here's your food." I said handing him his food. "Fank you, Waven." He said. "Go eat." I said. Then I started to walk up the stairs. "Waven, eat with me." He said. "Not today, buddy." I said. "But Waven." He said looking like he was about to cry. "Not now Tyler." I said. That was when I noticed everyone in Demi's family was watching us. Then I walked up to my room and shut the door. "I hate this." I said sitting on my bed. I looked at my packed bag and slowly got up. "Tyler deserves this, I don't." I whispered. I grabbed my bag and went towards the widow. For once I was glad to see a tree. I opened the window and slowly started to get out. "Where do you think you're going?" I heard Dallas ask. I turned around and saw that she was standing in my door way. "Away from here." I said. "Oh no you don't." Dallas said. "You can't stop me." I said. "Yes, I can." Dallas said taking a step towards me. Then I jumped into the tree and got down out of it.

"It's now or never." I whispered before taking off. I had to think about places I could go. I could go to the one friend of Sarah's that hadn't moved since her death. This was the only friend Sarah liked and thought was a good influence on me. Jaime, Sarah's friend, never did drugs or alcohol. When Sarah started she told Jaime crying that she didn't want to.
