The three soldiers looked down at me as I slowly stood up, my arms and legs shaking uncontrollably. Noah grew a terrified look on his face as I briefly made eye contact with him, before looking back to the soldiers.

"Come here little one." The first soldiers said in a deep voice.

I walked slowly towards them, until I was within an arms reach. Without hesitation, the first soldiers grabbed me by the shirt and pulled me from the cell, throwing me to the ground as he whipped his arm. As I stood to my feet, I felt the whips start to impact my already battered skin, preventing me from getting fully to my feet. I did my best to hold in my screams in an attempt to look tougher than I was, but I did a rather poor job at that. After a moment, I felt the rods, which seemed to have been heated cut across my skin all over my body, but only in small spots, as to not be lethal, only brutally painful.

"Come on bitch! I thought you had a thing for fire! And you're crying? I'll fuck you with this damn rod until you scream!" One of the soldiers shouted.

I could do little to hold back the tears that were streaming down my face at the pain that was striking my body all over. Every few seconds, I would consciously move the ends of my limbs as to make sure that they all still worked, and somehow, every time, they all did.

The brutal beating continued for several more minutes, before finally stopping. I struggled to roll over onto my back, screaming at the pain of my wounds being put under pressure as I came to rest on my back. The three soldiers watched me, laughing, as I tried to get to my feet. I felt like just staying where I was, but I was determined to show the soldiers that I was tougher to bring down than they had thought. I grunted, and forced myself to stand, regardless of the pain, until finally, I was able to stand up. I looked around at the three soldiers as they stood around me in silence, before spitting on the ground off to my side.

"Am I done for the day then?" I said.

The tallest soldiers lightly nodded his head. I chuckled, and calmly walked back into my cell, hearing the gate slam shut behind me.

I looked down at Noah, who was looking up at me with a look of confusion in his face.

"Problem?" I asked.

"N-No, I'm just amazed that you're still walking after that." He replied.

I chuckled.

"How'd you even get over here anyways? Didn't you get captured back on your home land?" I asked.

"Yeah, but they through us on one of the ships heading this way as added punishment I guess." He replied.

I nodded in acknowledgement, before collapsing to the ground, giving in to the pain.

"Are you going to be alright?" Noah asked in concern.

"I'll be fine. One day they'll kill us both. Unless we get out of here." I said as I turned my head to look at Noah.

"Get out? How would we get out?" He asked curiously.

I laughed to myself.

"My dragons will come back for me. They'll kill everyone who opposes them." I said confidently.

Noah sighed.

"No... No. They can't. They'll never get through. They'll be shot down by the guys on the ground, and if not, the Rusino's four living dragons will surely take them down. I'm sorry to say, but if they're even still alive, they'll never get us out." He said.

"Have you ever seen a dragon?" I asked him.

He shook his head as he cocked his eyebrows.

"Then you don't know the fury they can, and will bring." I replied.
