1 Month Later

Long after Sir Ivan named me Queen, I felt as though I had not done the job that I had been called upon to carry out. No major attacks had taken place on either end of the war. All I had done was sent a small group of men to scout for spies, but nothing came of it. I sat at the table in my tent, debating whether to march past our own borders, when sir Ivan came rushing into my tent.

"Your Excellency, if I may." He said as he knelt.

"Rise. What is it?" I asked.

"Marvin Ships, maybe two-thousand or so. Approaching from the north." He said.

"Why would they be sending that many ships here? Do we even have ships?" Tahli asked as she cut in.

Sir Ivan nodded.

"Yes, but only about two-hundred. And they're small. Not much of a force to fear." He replied.

"Then why would the Marvin's send so many ships to attack us? Their ships won't be of much use for attacking us on land, considering that we sit atop a cliff. Their cannons may be able to reach the cliffs top, but not very far inland." I said as I stood up.

"Word of your dragons and their power must have spread back to the higher ups. The Marvin's only have five-thousand ships, and they've sent nearly half their forces to attack our meager force of two-hundred. They want to kill the dragons." Sir Ivan replied.

I chuckled.

"They'll be hard pressed to shoot down a dragon the size of a small mountain with some pathetic little cannon. Ready the ships, have them fully crewed. The two largest dragons will accompany us, and I, along with my companions, will sail on the lead ship." I said as I walked past Sir Ivan and out the tents entrance.

"We're really going to ride on the ships? And why only two dragons?" Bailey asked as she followed me out of the tent.

"No we. You will stay here and watch over my children. As for the dragons, May is to small to fight. We never should have allowed her to fight at her size. Magar won't leave May on her own, and in the event that a land attack happens while we're at sea, Veracon will be around to protect them. Doron is the largest, so we need him, and we might as well use Ragon as well." I replied.

We rode on horse back for perhaps an hours time, before coming to a long, shallow incline that that thousands of rowboats at its base, with the two-hundred ships Sir Ivan said we had. I dismounted my horse and started making my way over to one of the boats, only to be stopped by Sir Ivan.

"But Your Excellency, what about the two dragons you intended to bring? We won't stand a chance without them." He said urgently.

I smiled and chuckled.

"They'll know that they're needed." I said, before turning back towards the boat.

I jumped in, with Amy and Tahli by my side.

"Take us to the lead ship." I ordered the men operating the boat.

We boarded the ship upon reaching it, and it was nothing to be impressed over. The ships were small, two mast vessels with two sails on each mast, and a single row of medium size cannons on either side of the ship, with twenty five per side. Fifty in total. Crewed by only a few hundred men each, and light in the water. We set sail after all the crews had boarded their vessels, and started north. I stood on the top deck of the lead ship, and looked back at my small armada of ships trailing behind my own. And sure enough, after a short while adrift the ocean waves, I looked up to see two sets of wings beating against the sky. One black with shades of scarlet, the other bright green with shimmering bronze.

I looked to Sir Ivan and chuckled.

"Told you they'd come."
