"You're not taking you're swords?" I asked Bailey as she threw the bladed weapons to the ground.

She shook her heads.

"The fuck am I going to use swords for while I'm flying on the back of a dragon?" She asked sarcastically.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"That's a good point. Perhaps i'll leave my behind as well." I replied, though I had no intentions of leaving my weapons behind.

Bailey stood up and brushed herself off, then looked off in the direction the army was approaching from.

"So, here's the plan. Magar and I will corral as many men as we can into the trap, then, when I think the time is right, I'll fly over the two of you. When I do, dive off the cliff together. Jessica, you trap them at the front, Amy, you hold them at the back. With luck the rest of the army will leave us be once they figure that they're out of harms way. If not, May and I will turn to engage them. If ships are spotted, the two of you will turn to take them on while May and I stay and engage the ground forces. If I see fit, I'll join the two of you. Do either of you object?" She asked.

I was taken off guard by her authoritative speech, but the plan sounded secure and reasonable, so I just shook my head in response to her question. Amy did the same, though more muted.

"Good. I'll be off then. We'll stay high enough that they won't be able to spot us, then dive and initiate the attack. You two just wait for the signal." She said, before cracking a slight smile.

I smiled back, before lunging at her for a hug, joined by Amy as well.

"I'm sure we'll all be fine. I can feel it." I said in her ear before stepping back.

Just as I said this, May cawed as she nuzzled up against Magar's wing.

"She's so adorable. I wish I was that cute." Amy said jokingly.

I chuckled.

"Don't we all." I replied.

Bailey grinned, before starting towards Magar.

"Please be careful!" I shouted as she stepped onto Magar's wing.

She looked back to me, and smiled before cupping her hand over her mouth.

"I always am!" She shouted before making her way up Magar's back.

Amy and I watched as the purple and silver striped dragon spread her shiny wings, then leaping from the cliffs edge and quickly rising towards the sky, soon swallowed by the clear blue mass that stretched as far as the eye could see.
