Okay?

Sound and colours.

That's all her world was right now. Sound and colours and coldness.

She could her distressed voices, agonising cries of the people she loved most. Colours, a blur of colour and light, and darkness, always that looming darkness that threatened to consume her and extinguish all light, colour and life.

She knew little about what was going on but the one thing she was certain of; she mustn't succumb to the darkness.

She had to hold on, not only for herself but for her siblings, and the Quagmires and even Fiona. She couldn't let them down. But she was ever so tired, holding became a strained task that became harder to complete. She didn't know if she could, she wanted to, but she didn't know how. Her body ached with the effort.

Maybe it would be okay if she let go?
