Sam woke up with Jacks arms still around her. She didn't want to wake him, so she laid still and rested one hand on her stomach. She had a hard time believing she was actually pregnant until she noticed her pants had become too tight to button, then she knew it was true. She smiled all day that day, and Jack never knew why. Now, as he lay beside her, with his hand resting on her stomach, she had everything she could ever ask for. She felt a fluttering along the side of her stomach the made her jump. The baby was moving for the first time. It was likely that it moved at 5 months, but she was sure she was trying to tell her mom how happy she was.

"Jack!" She whispered.

"What!" He yelled and rolled over.

"Give me your hand. Quick." He sighed and passed his hand to her. She placed it where the fluttering was happening.

"What is that?" He sat up and looked at her.

"You're daughter saying hello." She smiled.

"No way! Roll over." She obeyed and he felt her small bump all over, but the baby quite moving.

"That's it. She's tired." Sam joked.

"I can't believe we could feel her." Samantha said amazed.

"Yeah, me too. With Charlie, we didn't feel movement until she was 6 months along."

"Well, I'm starving so do want breakfast?" Sam asked.

"Yes, but in fact, as my new wife, I am going to make you breakfast in bed. You just wait here." He jumped off the bed and ran into the kitchen. About 30 minutes and one romance novel later, Jack burst through the door with a tray in his hand. He set it down before her. A plate held eggs, toast, and a glass of milk behind it with silverware and a napkin to the side.

"Wow, this looks great!" She exclaimed. She grabbed the fork and dug in. Jack just sat beside her on the bed watching. She took a bite of toast and placed it in his mouth.

"Not bad." He joked

"Would you be mad if I went into work today?" She asked.

"Really? The day after our wedding? You can't take one day off?" He had a weird look on his face. She knew he wanted her to stay home but the truth was, she wasn't used to that. Her life was chaos all the time and she liked it. It killed her to lay in bed while Jack made her breakfast, all she wanted to do was get up and help him.

"I just have so much work to do, right now." She gave him a pathetic look.

"I'll cut you a deal. Take today off, spend it here with me, and tomorrow we can both go in for the day," She considered it for a moment and then agreed, "Good. Now we are going to have a fun filled day, aren't we." He moved the breakfast tray to the night stand and kissed her. They didn't leave for the rest of the day.

The next day....

Beep, beep, beep, beep

Sams alarm buzzed beside her. She slammed the top of it and rolled over to wake Jack.

"Jack, time to get up." She shook his shoulder.

"I'm up!" He yelled, becoming restless.

"I've got a lot to do today, so get moving." She demanded as she rolled over and pulled the covers to her shoulders.

"I don't see you moving." He said and sat up. She was fast asleep, obviously exhausted from growing another human being. He didn't want to wake her and he didn't want to go in to the SGC so he called Hammond who understood the issue and told him she could come in whenever, which pleased Jack. So, he decided to go shopping and surprise Sam with a crib and some clothing. He grabbed his keys and headed for his car. She never stirred but he left a note just in case saying he went to pick some stuff up.
