Sam and Jack's Ending: Stargate SG-1

The Surprise

That afternoon, Sam was released and ready to go home. They walked back out to the curb where Jack had left the car earlier that day. She opened the trunk to throw her clothes in and saw the boxed crib and changing table. She took a step back and put her hand over her mouth in awe.

"Jack. When did you do this?" She asked. He turned around in the drivers seat saw that she had seen her surprise. He opened the door and ran around to stand beside her.

"I thought I would surprise you and get the first couple things for the baby." He put his arm around her shoulders.

"That's so sweet." She gave him a hug and kissed him. He never knew what hit him when she backed away, "I love it. I can't wait to set up the nursery, now!"

"How about we go over to Baby's-R-Us and pick out some stuff to get it started?" He asked.

"That's would be great. I was thinking of doing a pink and pure white theme." They turned and went opposite directions around the car, only to meet once again when they got in.

"One condition." He said. She looked puzzled through the excitement.

"What?"

"We are going to get something to eat first." He smiled and snickered.

"Ugh. Fine. But I want Italian." She corrected.

They had their dinner, then shopped for four hours. Sam picked out lots of cute clothing and little socks that she kissed every time she found a pair she liked. Jack bought toys that would probably be suited for a boy rather than a girl but she let him have his fun. If anything, maybe Janet would be a tomboy!

By the time they were finished, they had two carts of baby stuff that would fill up the bedroom beside theirs.

"It's hard to believe we are almost finished baby shopping and we still have 4 months to wait." She said.

"Well, the nursery isn't even close to finished, so don't rush her."
