"Good morning." Jack rested his head in between Sams shoulders and chin.

"Already?" She asked, "I feel like it was just 3AM." She rolled over and looked him in the eye.

"You look horrible." He told her.

"Well, I did get up 10 times last night." She snarked.

"I slept great!" He stretched his arms out in front of him.

"Well good for you. Now, go feed Janet while I get some shut eye." Sam rolled over and went back to sleep. Jack moaned, crawled out of bed and wandered into the nursery. Janet was sleeping soundly, and he didn't want that to change so he closed her door and made his way into the living room. He was just about to turn the corner when he heard someone set something down on the end table. He stopped walking and tip toed to the corner. Peaking around, he only got a glimpse of someone standing by the fireplace. He retreated to the basement steps to reveal his hidden weapon. The pistol was cool against this hand when he held the barrel in the air. For a second, he almost missed the feeling of holding a gun close to his body.

He quietly went back up the steps and hugged the wall to the living room, careful to avoid all squeaky boards in the floor. The man was now sitting on the couch but his face was still hidden.

"Hands up!" Jack shouted. He stepped in front of the man, holding the gun in front of him.

"Whoa, Jack!" He figure stood up and held out his hands above his head as directed. It was Jacob. Jack lowered the gun.

"Jacob, what the hell are you doing here?" The baby screamed in the distance. A second later he heard the bedroom door click open and Sam moved from the bedroom to the nursery. She came out after a minute and the crying stopped. She cradled the baby in a blanket, still in her pajamas. She still looked pregnant, even though she wasn't and it had been a month since she had given birth in the SGC.

"Sam. Come here." He stepped backwards and saw her heading for the living room now, yawning and putting her hand over her mouth.

"What? Janet's hungry." She saw the gun in his hand and stopped, "What's going on?" She looked down at the gun and he instinctively put it in the back of his pants. She took a few steps foreword to stand in the doorway of the living room.

"Your dad decided to come for a visit!" He sarcastically exclaimed. She looked over to see Jack wasn't alone, but her dad was really there. The baby coo'ed in her arm and started to cry softly again.

"Dad!" The sleepy look disappeared from her face and a smile replaced it. She rushed over and her dad grabbed her in a big hug, careful not to smash the baby.

"I had to come see my granddaughter! I heard she had an eventful start to life!" Sam and Jacob turned their attention to the baby who was still crying.

"Yes she did." Sam moved the blanket away from Janet's face to dry her tears, "And I don't think daddy fed you, did he?" She asked in a baby voice.

"She's gorgeous, Sam." Jacob told her.

"Just like her mom." Jack added from across the room. Both of them looked at Jack with a smile on their face

"Well, let me get her bottle ready and you can feed her." She told Jacob. Jack walked over to Sam and took Janet, careful to support her head. She was still crying and adamant about not letting anybody eat until she had a full belly. Jack rocked back and forth, talking to her softly as if it would soothe a hungry belly. It was no use. He followed Sam and Jacob into the kitchen. She rushed around quickly to get the formula and bottle ready and it seemed like eons before the bottle was placed in her mouth. She quieted down instantly. They passed the happy baby to her grandpa who sat down in the rocking chair. He held the bottle steady and watched his granddaughter drink in silence, only making small slurping sounds. Selmac came forth.
