CAMILA COULDN'T MOVE.
Rumbling booms shook the castle, the floor she crouched on and her very soul. Faint screams echoed through her ears. Flashes of light seared her eyelids, squeezed shut so hard tears leaked down her grimy face.
"Look out!"
She opened her eyes, diving to the side in time as an Acromantula scuttled past, it's giant legs gouging out the spot she'd just been a second ago. Dust clouded the scene. Hazy figures fought each other, flashes of light cutting through the darkness. Two stumbled out of the haze, grappling with each other. The taller one flung the slimmer one to the ground, jabbing his wand in his face. Without thinking, Camila raised her wand.
"Stupefy!"
The larger man flew back in a flash of red light. Camila ran over to the fallen boy. His hood had fallen, uncovering his silvery blond hair. She stopped in her tracks as he turned, pale eyes piercing through her.
"Thanks," Draco Malfoy whispered.
