CAMILA, DRACO AND Teddy went to a muggle shop that Camila knew. They sat at a corner booth. Soon, a waitress came and gave them the menu card.
"Can you order for me? Just get me what you are getting," Draco said.
"What about Teddy?" Camila asked.
"He already ate," Draco said, watching Teddy fondly. The waitress had come back and Camila ordered two plates of pancakes with maple syrup.
"Have you thought about what I said?" Draco asked eagerly.
"Yeah. I think I'd like to be friends with you," She smiled cheerfully, but wanted to scream at him saying she wanted to be more than friends.
They sat in silence, watching Teddy play with the menu card. The waitress soon came back with the pancakes. She placed the plates before them and said "You both are really cute together. How old is your baby?"
"Thank you. He is two years old," Draco responded nonchalantly. The waitress was called back and she left.
"Why did you tell her that we are together?" Camila demanded, she didn't want to get her hopes and he wasn't helping at all. Draco didn't answer and just started eating.
"If you can be an ice cream flavour, what would it be?" he asked, avoiding the topic on hand.
"Stop trying to change the topic," Camila snapped. She swore that he was doing this to piss her off. Or make her go mad trying to to figure out what he meant.
"I would be coffee ice cream because that means you will like me forever," Draco went on pretending to not hear what she said. Camila rolled her eyes and continued eating her pancakes.
"I can't espresso how much you bean to me," Draco claimed with a grin.
Camila couldn't help but burst out laughing. Draco joined her and Teddy soon followed. "You should laugh more often. It's cute," Draco added, making her blush.
She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, trying not to show her nervousness. She focused on finishing her pancakes. Draco had finished eating, talking to Teddy in gibberish.
As she finished, she asked for the bill. Draco objected to her taking money out. "Do you have muggle money with you right now?" Camila asked, silencing him.
After paying, they went to the park outside, feeling grateful for the sunshine.
