Kabanata 10

"Babe, 1+1?"

"Two?" Takang sagot nito at sumubsob sa balikat ko. We were at the shore by the beach, nakaupo kami sa buhangin habang humahalik ang mga alon sa mga paa.

It was a dark night, yet the stars would never leave to give us light.

"Hmm, 2+2?" I asked again. Tumawa s'ya at mas humigpit ang yakap sa akin.

"Four, Reev. Wala ka na bang matanong at pati 'yan tinatanong mo na?" His baritone, familiar voice asked. Natawa ako at sumandig sa balikat n'ya.

"Basta, 3+3?" I asked again.

"I love you," Bulong n'ya. I stopped, he chuckled and kissed my shoulder blades.

"What is it, Reev?" Bulong n'ya. My heart is still beating rapidly, kinagat ko ang labi ko at humugot ng hininga.

"Wala lang..." I chuckled. "I was just bored, babe."

"Uh-huh," He murmured and tilted my chin, marahang dumampi ang labi n'ya sa akin at mabilis ko rin s'yang ginantihan. "Reev, ilan gusto mong anak?" Tanong n'ya sa akin.

"Anak kaagad?" Natawa ako pero nag-init ang pisngi. "Ang bilis naman ata?"

"Not really," Aniya at muli akong niyakap sa likuran. "I guess it's kinda late, 'nung niligawan palang kita, gusto ko na magkaanak tayo e."

"What?!" Hinampas ko ang hita n'ya at natawa s'ya at hinuli ang kamay ko. "You pervert!"

"Hindi kaya," He laughed. "Between us two, you're the first to make a move!"

"Lasing ako 'nun, hoy, lalaki!" I smacked his leg. He laughed heartily and kissed my cheek repeatedly.

"But still, you loved it, right?" Aniya.

"O-Oo naman, syempre." I pouted. Natawa s'ya at hinawi ang buhok ko sa leeg ko.

"Anyway, ilang anak ba gusto mo nang masimulan na natin?" He whispered.

"Just two? O kaya marami? Okay lang sa akin." Ngumiti ako. "Basta ayokong mag-isa lang, kasi mahirap mag-isa. I felt that as a kid. Wala akong kalaro." I pouted.

"Yes, me too." Bulong n'ya. "Even if my brother is annoying as fuck, I would still choose to have him."

"Let's say...we already have kids, what will we name them?" I asked.

"Hmm, something related to stars? I want people to just look above and remember their names." Aniya.

"Hmm, if it's a boy, we'll name him Sirius." I said softly.

"The brightest star," Bulong n'ya. "Okay, Sirius, then. How about if it's a girl?"

"Astraea," I answered.

"Oh, the goddess of justice and innocence?" He said. I chuckled, nilingon ko s'ya at hinaplos ang pisngi n'ya.

"You're learning, huh?" I chuckled.

"Of course, you're a great teacher!" Ngisi n'ya. "Maybe I can master the stars now, then? Hindi nalang 'yung adobo mo?"

Natawa ako, umayos ako ng upo at mabilis s'yang dinampian ng halik sa labi.

"Then, maybe we can use... Castor and Pollux." I said and smiled.

"I know that!" Napaisip s'ya at nangunot ang noo. Natawa naman ako at tinitigan s'ya.

"What is it?" I asked.

"The great twins!" He exclaimed and I chuckled and clapped my hands.

"Great! One hundred kisses reward mo sakin!" I exclaimed and leaned in to kiss his lips.
