Chanel's POV
"Wait, wait." I said laughing. "Tell us what happened again."
Me and Damien were laughing at the ridiculous story Rachel was telling us. It was Halloween night and we were about to go to a party. My dad was throwing one at 40/40 and he said we can come. We just finished taking Blue and Jeulz trick or treating.
"No, I'm not telling y'all nothing else. It was serious and y'all laughing and shit." She said. "Y'all know my mom is crazy."
"No, no okay, we'll stop." Damien said. "So did she punch you in the throat or was it a karate chop."
We busted out laughing.
"First of all I don't know why either of y'all laughing." She said. "I heard when uncle Shawn beat and embarrassed your ass at school."
Then she looked at me.
"And lets not forget you getting beat like a damn slave in another country." She said.
"Aight, chill." Damien said.
"Oh, aight then." She said.
There she go ruining the fun.
"And what are y'all dressed as?" My mom asked coming out the room.
I know she's wasn't talking with what she was wearing.
"What does it look like? We're Kriss Kross." I said as me and Damien posed.
"And what about you?" My mom asked Rachel.
"I'm Jake from state farm's sister Jackie." She said. "We got different mothers."
My mom just shook her head.
Somebody knocked on the door and I went to answer.
"Ayeeeeeeee!" My aunts said.
"Yeah, I know. I'm fly right." I said.
Me and Damien seriously had vintage baseball shirts and baggy pants backwards with timberland boots. Also you had to drop them low so for the first time in my life I'm sagging.
"Check you out." Aunt Michelle said.
"Please do not tell me y'all are black panthers." I said.
"It's not justice sister, it's just us." Aunt Solo said.
I shook my head.
"Is that why ma looks like an extra in a Public Enemy video?" I said.
"Oh my god." Damien said laughing as we walked in.
"We at war sista?" Rachel asked with a fist raised. "War!"
