Chanel's POV

Finally the school day is over. My parent's have been gone for three days now and of course grandma is watching us so my parents can live it up while we're stuck here. I'm really trying to get to Coachella but my parents haven't got back to me yet. I swear I only wanna see Outkast and they can send us back.

"Hey Jas, hold up." I said as I answered my phone. "Hello?"

Jas closed her locker as I heard whimpering on the other end of my phone.

"Ciera?"

"Yeah." She said.

"Are you crying? What's wrong?" I asked.

I nodded as she told me what was going on. I looked at Jasmine and smiled. Jasmine looked at me oddly.

"Okay, I'm on my way." I said as I hung up.

"What?" Jasmine asked as I eyed her.

"You want to take a ride?" I asked.

"A ride? Where?" She asked.

I just smiled.

Ciera's POV

I was sitting in the cafeteria waiting for Chanel. I called and told her I was being messed with all day. This one girl would not leave me alone. Just messing with me and picking with me for no reason. I said nothing to this girl.

I saw Chanel walk in with some other girl I didn't know. She walked over to me in a hurry.

"Where she at?" She asked.

"Uh." I said.

Maybe I shouldn't have called her.

"Ciera, I'm not gonna ask you again." She said.

I scanned the cafeteria and saw her near the snack machine. I pointed in that direction and that's where we walked.

We walked up to her while she was talking.

"Uhm who's been messing with Ciera?" Chanel asked.

Nobody said anything they just looked at her kind of shocked and scared with their mouths open.

"They speak English right?" The other girl said.

"I'm saying," Chanel said. "My lil sister said one of y'all was messing with her. Point 'em out Ciera."

I pointed towards the girl that's been messing with me.

"You messing with her?" Chanel asked her.

"You're her sister?" The girl said.

"Yes, that's what I said right? Why you messing with her? She didn't do anything to you did she?"

"Nah but-"

"Ain't no buts. She didn't mess with you. Don't mess with her." Chanel said. "I'm being nice right now. Next time I won't."

I felt very satisfied right now.

"Ciera, let's go." She said.

I followed Chanel and her friend out. We got in her friends car.

"Ciera, don't tell my mom what we did." Chanel said.

"Why not?"

"She might not like it but just don't mention it."

I nodded.

"Can we go get a smoothie?" I asked. "Oh yeah, who's she?"

She laughed.

"Ciera, this is Jasmine." Chanel said.
