Beyoncé's POV
"Ciera, let's go." I said.
I was standing at the entrance of her door. She didn't want to go to therapy and she's been giving attitude since she came home from school. Stomping her little feet everywhere she went.
She was moving all slow and we were going to be late.
"Ciera." I said.
"I'm coming." She said like I was annoying her.
"Ciera, you got to the count of two." I said sternly.
She finally got her jacket and we were ready to go. I'm being very patient because of the situation. Shawn met us in the living room.
"Y'all ready?"
"No." Ciera said pouted.
"Ciera, you have to go." Shawn said.
"But I don't want to." She said. "What if they make my dreams come back? I've been doing fine for a week."
"Okay, so what happens if they come back next week?" I asked.
After awhile she mumbled "Fine."
"Chanel! Damien! We're leaving!" I yelled.
"Bye!" I heard.
We left out to go to this therapy session.
Ciera's POV
I sat in this lady's office between Jay and BB. I didn't want to be here and I don't want to spill my feelings because honestly I don't know what I'm feeling.
"Ciera?" I heard.
"Huh?"
"Do you want to talk?" The lady asked.
"No." I said.
"Mr. and Mrs. Carter could you give us a moment." She said.
I looked at BB and Jay as they left. The lady was just looking at me.
"We don't have to talk about what happened." She said. "We can talk about anything."
I just sat there.
"How did you meet Mrs. Carter? That seems like it was amazing." She said.
I smiled a bit.
"Uhm, when I was eight I called a radio station and got to speak with Chanel, BB's daughter and I told her about me being bullied." I said. "Then a few months later they surprised me at school."
"They just showed up?"
"Uh huh." I said nodding. "I was shocked. Like Beyoncé and her daughter came to see me. It was weird. Then Chanel became like a big sister to me."
"So things just snow balled?" She asked.
"Yeah." I said but then looked down. "I know BB and Jay don't think I know but I know they were taking care of me."
"How do you know?"
"I may be 11 but I'm not stupid." I said.
"When did you start to notice?"
"When I was nine. I stayed at their house a lot and stuff. At first I didn't pay attention to it but then I started to notice."
"When did things start to change?"
I looked at her briefly before looking down. I took a deep breath and looked back at her.
"When I was 10 my mom and I moved in a bigger house and she got a boyfriend and I didn't get to see Chanel anymore that much."
