Epilogue
Beyoncé sat in the dressing room getting ready for her show. She was waiting for a face time call from her oldest children. Both had been away longer than planned and Beyoncé missed them terribly. Damien found out he had to stay in Michigan a little longer for training and Chanel's tour with OMG and Mindless Behavior was extended. It's been nine weeks since Beyoncé has seen them.
"Hi mommy." She heard as she looked on her iPad.
"Hi baby." Beyoncé said smiling.
"Why you cheesing so hard?" Chanel asked.
"Cause I missed my baby." She said.
"Hold on let me get Damien on." Chanel said.
About a minuet later Damien appeared on the screen.
"Hi mommy." Damien said. "How's the tour?"
"It's going good." She said. "I just miss seeing y'all. When are y'all coming."
"Uhm actually-" Chanel started.
"Uhm actually what?" Beyoncé said.
"I have orientation and then freshman week for school." Chanel said.
"No, that's in two weeks." Beyoncé said.
"I know but we got some more dates." Chanel said.
Beyoncé sighed.
"I'm still conditioning." Damien said.
"Y'all can't come see your mother?" Beyoncé asked. "I'm your mother."
"Ma, you know it's not like that." Damien said. "You know we'll see you soon."
"Yeah, we just have to figure something's out." Chanel said.
"So I won't see y'all this week?" Beyoncé asked. "Your sisters and father miss you too it's not just me."
"Ma, don't play the guilt trip." Chanel said. "It's my job. What do you want me to do?"
"I get it." Beyoncé said. "I understand."
"For real ma, you mad?" Damien asked.
"No, I'm not mad." She said. "I just want to see y'all."
"We'll figure it out mommy I promise." Chanel said.
"Alright." Beyoncé said.
"Mommy please stop pouting I already feel bad." Chanel said.
"I'll stop." She said.
They said their goodbyes and Beyoncé proceeded to finish getting ready for her show. Even though she was upset she wouldn't see her kids for a few more weeks she had to put it behind her and give her fans what they wanted. The best show of their lives.
The concert had been underway for about an hour now. The arena was packed and the crowd had been screaming since Beyoncé stepped on the stage.
Damien and Chanel were escorted through a side door with their dad and bodyguards. No one saw them come into the building. As they walked closer they could feel the music under their feet. They walked backstage as they heard the familiar beat of "Bow Down" transitioning into "***Flawless". They heard their mother singing and walked out on stage.
At first no one noticed anything. Beyoncé continued to dance with her dancers. Chanel danced her way closer to her mother and her dancers and her mother didn't notice a thing. It wasn't until the song was almost over that she realized someone was dancing near her without proper wardrobe. She glanced and did a double take before she noticed who it was.
