*Christmas*
"What it is!" Damien said as he bust in my room.
"What's up." I said automatically.
"Got your nigga in the cut." He said.
"God damn!" I said then laughed.
He plopped on my bed as I reached for my phone. It was nine o'clock. Very surprising because Blue hasn't woken anyone up.
"Where's everyone at?" I asked as I yawned.
"I'm guessing still sleep. Now go wash the crust out your eyes so we can wake them up." He said.
I got up to go to my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. We left out my room and ran into my parents room and they weren't there.
"Where did they go?" I asked.
"Oh my god, we're like Home Alone." Damien said. "And the second one cause we're in New York."
"Stop being dramatic." I said.
We walked back out the door and went to the living room. We saw the tree and presents but no parents and no Blue.
Damien shrugged and walked over to the tree. I grabbed his shirt.
"What?" He asked.
"We still need to find them." I said.
We went to Blue's room and they were on the floor asleep. You would think this is cute but no. Blue was in her bed and my parents were sprawled out on her floor. I shook my head.
"Wake up! It's Christmas!" Damien yelled.
My mom popped up and my dad looked up and Blue didn't move at all. She can sleep through anything.
"What y'all doing? Wake up." I said.
My mom laid down and I went over to wake Blue. I lifted her up. I was trying to wake her up.
"Why y'all in here?" Damien asked.
"She wouldn't go to sleep waiting for Santa." Dad said.
I shook my head.
"Blue! Santa came!" I said.
She lifted her head off my shoulder.
"For real." She said.
"Yeah, when you were sleep and he ate the cookies and left crumbs on daddy's shirt." I said.
My dad dusted the crumbs off his shirt as he and my mom got up. We left out her room but my parents went towards their room.
"Where you going?" I asked.
"Can we wash up?" My mom asked.
"Uh, no." I said.
"No let them, I'm pretty sure their breath is tart." Damien said.
"Shut up." My mom said going to her room.
I took Blue in her bathroom to get ready but out the corner of my eye I saw Damien and he was fidgeting.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked.
"I wanna know what I got." He said.
"You better be lucky it's anything with that bra ma found, your almost baby-" I stopped. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that."
"Nah, you good." He said.
"Damien I'm sorry." I said.
"You good." He said. "It's Christmas and we gonna celebrate what we do have."
