Haruto and y/n walked down the street, both silent. Haruto liked her. He just met her but he felt a deep connection, she didn't like him back, though, he thought. Haruto could tell y/n was disappointed and mad. He wanted to wrap his arms around her and tell her everything was going to be okay. He felt that, too. The young boy moved to Seoul a few months ago and he felt uncomfortable with his life in here. His dad? Only loved him for his talent and for the money he could make with it. The boy felt nobody truly loved him but she looked like a nice and sweet person. Well, at least she allowed him to sit with her and listened to him. He knew y/n loved Chris. He could tell by the way she looked at him. By the way her eyes made that sad expression when Sian told her. By the way she hugged him. He was okay with it. He was used to rejection. Haruto just wanted her to know he would be there for her. He didn't care that the girl who was walking next to him was almost an stranger. He cared about her only.
Y/n sighed and Haruto looked at her.

- "Do you want to talk about it ?" - He asked, raising his eyebrows.

-"About what?" - She said, trying to play him. He sighed and shook his head.

-" Y/n, something is wrong, i feel it. It would be best to let it out. I barely know you so i promise i won't judge you." - She looked at him with sad eyes and nodded.

- "I thought this was a good idea, you know? Moving to Seoul and run away from my abusive father. A fresh start." -
Her voice shook, and Haruto wrapped his arms around her shoulders. And she cried. She cried all of her fears away. She let out every single memory, every single word through her tears. Was she really that stupid? Was her heart really that stupid? She then knew. She knew she loved Chris. She loved a boy she met not even a month ago. And that boy won't ever love her.
Haruto hugged her tighter but she didn't feel anything at all. Y/n was thankful for his kind manners but she was too broken and she knew she wouldn't be able to get it together this time.

Hyunjin, the boy y/n met before passed by and saw them. He didn't understand what was going on and he wanted to help, but he felt too weak. His feet weren't moving. He stood there, in silence. Chan, Jisung and Changbin were waiting for him. They spent days on that studio and the young boy felt he could help so he volunteered to bring them food and anything  they could need. Hyunjin walked away, he suddenly knew how he could help y/n. He practically ran to the studio.

- "Finally. Why did it take you so long?" - Jisung said, taking the food from Hyunjin's hands.

-"Sorry." - Hyunjin said, still thinking about what he saw a moment ago.

-"It's okay. Don't listen to Jisung, he is just stressed. Thank you, Hyunjin." Chan said, making the boy feel better.
He smiled to his leader, he loved being useful. Changbin got his attention, he was moving around the room, nervous.
Hyunjin could hear his breath, he knew he was under pressure.
-"What's wrong, hyung?"- Changbin didn't react, he was too focused.

-"We ran out of inspiration. We've been here for hours now and we don't even have a song title, lyrics, not even a beat." - The oldest said, moving his chair.

Hyunjin knew it affected them. But he also knew how good his friends were. He knew they would eventually write a song. They just needed inspiration, they needed a muse, something to write about.

Inspiration.

He then knew. He knew what could make them write a song. Her. Y/n, y/n was a good inspiration for his hyung.
He hesitated at first but he then approached him.
-"Hyung?" -He said, looking at his worried expression.

-"Mhmm" -He answered, not looking at him.

-"I think there's something you should know." Hyunjin said, nervous.

-"Is it really important? I'm trying to think, Hyunjinnie. I'm busy." - Chan said shaking his head.

-"But-" -Hyunjin knew y/n could help him. The airport girl he talks about. Hyunjin knew Chan liked her, and he also knew he felt like Sian was using him. Jisung interrupted Hyunjin's words.

-"He said he was busy, Hyunjin. Please, go. We need to be alone." -The boy said with an angry tone.

Silence.
Chan was tapping on his table, trying to get a good beat, he thought, while Changbin was whispering some words.
He nodded and walked to the door. But he stopped. He had to try harder.

-"It's about y/n." -He said. Chris looked at him instantly, and Hyunjin smiled.

-"What is it?"- Chan said, looking at him with the same worried expression he had before.

-"I saw her, with Haruto. A boy from my class. She was crying, i could feel she was really sad." -Hyunjin said, grabbing the attention of the three other boys in the room.

Chan didn't know what to say. She was still sad? Because he definetely was. He didn't want her to be sad. He wanted her to be herself. The lost girl he met. The boy felt he had no energy to ask the reason so he nodded.
-"Hyung, you should write a song about her. No one will know." -They weren't able to see any girl, they were debuting soon and they had to focus on their own careers. But that was a great idea, a song, about her. About her only.

-"Tell me everything." -Chris said and Hyunjin sat down, smiling.

He described everything, from the way her tears ran down her cheeks to her sad eyes.
Chan nodded with a worried expression and Hyunjin knew this was affecting him, too. Y/n and Chris were smilar. They both moved and started from zero. They left all behind to follow their goals. Music in Chan's case. And a new life, in the girl's case.
Hyunjin then explained everything he heard. He heard the girl saying she felt lost, lost and broken.
As soon as Chris heard that word he took a piece of paper and wrote

BROKEN COMPASS.
