Something Else

"Terry, hey," Selena said, with the brightest face she could give to Terry, Terry looked at her by the corner of his eyes, he was reading a book peacefully on the couch before Selena came. Selena got closer to him with her hands behind her back and a large confident smile on her face.

"I think I am ready to become a vampire," she told him.

Terry closed his book, "oh is that so?"

He stood up, and took off his mouth mask that he hid his fangs with, "come to me," he told her while holding out his hand as she walked towards him, and she was between his arms.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Terry asked, and Selena put her chin on his shoulder while smiling with a gentle smile, "if you are here, I am not afraid, even if you are a vampire, I'll keep you safe."

Right before Terry had a chance to bite her, he woke up as he rolled down the bed realizing it was a dream. He was taking deep breaths out of pain because his head hit the wall the moment he fell down to the ground.

It was a dream huh?

He rubbed his sleepy eyes as he tried to recover from the pain, as he slowly sat up and looked at the calendar on the wall, he walked closely while rubbing his blurry eyes to check out the date. It was the start of the break, and he realized that he probably had to go back.

He started packing up things inside a brown backpack, making his bed, dusting some parts of the windows, taking a shower, do everything he needed in order to get ready before going downstairs.

"TERRY?"

Selena looked at Terry and she was wearing a pink hoodie with a lime green shirt, she looked worried and panicked, "I was about to go back to Josenburg, so sorry Terry."

"I was about to go back there too," Terry said with a serious expression on his face, he didn't expect this girl was going back too. He always had the feeling that Selena somehow tied him together, but he usually tries his best to ignore it, because it wasn't really something that he could do anything about.

"Who is going to take care of the house then?!" She said, shuffling her hair around.

"Just lock all the windows and doors, no one will come up to the house on the hill anyway."

"Oh!"

With that, the two started boarding the ship to go back to Josenburg. Selena had fun ordering some food on the ship, and she looked cheerful, "this is so exciting!"

Terry, on the other hand, wrapped himself in a blue wool blanket hiding his entire body inside of it including his head, "don't talk to me, I need sleep," he said, Selena just stared at him for one moment feeling sad that she would probably miss the chance to talk to Terry on the ship seeing how grumpy he is. It reminded her of her old neighbour next door, that man usually shoo away anyone who wants to talk to him even when he was just sitting on the front porch. She decided not to take offence to it and continued eating.

"Mmmm!" She said, eating the spaghetti that was served on the ship, she finished it quite fast, as she ordered more food, and the noisiest food that she ordered was apparently some popcorn, you could hear the sound of the crunchy popcorn as she took a bite of a fistful of popcorn inside her mouth. The sound was definitely annoying to Terry who was trying to sleep.

"Eat quietly..."

After five orders Selena took, she yawned and fell asleep, as she started pulling Terry's blanket to cover herself.
