"Don't worry, I brought my own blanket this time," Selena said, smirking at Terry while they were ready to leave Josenburg and go to Weinsburg. Terry had an annoyed look on his face, you could tell by how he was furrowing his eyebrows at Selena.
"I don't trust you," he said in a more or less pleased tone.
"We can always share!"
"No thanks, not going to do it."
Terry started wrapping himself in his blanket, as he put it over his head, and Selena sighed as she looked at him with an annoyed expression on her face, "we like each other anyway, what's wrong with it?"
"We aren't dating," he said in a stern voice, as he rolled himself inside the blanket, Selena looked sad when he did that. Then he voiced out something just to make something clear about their relationship and the actual reason why, "you don't even know half of my family problem, I don't think you can fit in."
"They'll get solved soon, right?" She said, as she took out a box of doughnuts and started munching some doughnuts, while making a pleased sound every time she took a bite of it.
"I kind of hate your optimism sometimes," Terry sighed. He started thinking deeply to himself, as much as he loved Selena, he didn't want Maple to fight with her, and he was getting worried about the paintings, he had to submit some paintings but he hasn't had the inspiration to do so because he was sulking back in his house. He felt like, if he was to tell her his problem, she was probably going to butt in and he doesn't like that.
On the other hand, Selena was thinking about buying Terry a gift, she felt like it was a nice gesture to give him a gift because most of the time Terry had to deal with everything she did. She wasn't sure what was the perfect gift to give such a pessimistic guy.
They reached Weinsburg after getting off from the ship, as the two of them walked back together, up the hill during the cold windy night illuminated by the pale moonlight. After getting back to the mansion, Selena looked extremely tired and she was huffing because of how much stairs she had to climb before coming back to the mansion. Terry looked unfazed, and he looked at her as he threw his bag towards the couch and spoke, "alright, first of all miss Selena, you can start dusting the living room, your room and then you can go to bed," he said as he took out a feather duster from top of the shelf and held it out to her.
She looked annoyed, as she rubbed her eyes, and glared at Terry, and Terry just glared back at her, "can't you feel the dust?!"
"It's like 10, I want to sleep!"
"It's not like you have any plans for tomorrow, now go!" He said pushing the feather duster in her hand as she puffed her cheeks and started dusting the living room while Terry went all around the house to check whether everything was alright.
Selena felt worried about how their relationship can ever progress, she didn't want their relationship just to be lame roommates. She was thinking of ways to solve it.
She brought it up until the next day to Fedrick when she went to the cafe with him.
"Do you know what Terry likes?"
Fedrick drank his coffee and put the cup slowly on the plate below it as he looked at her with his lime green eyes, looking at her with the face 'you know better'.
"I think you can answer that question better," he said, he put both of his hands on the table and clasped it together, "why do you even try Sel? It's complicated right?"
"Well..."
Fedrick to his cup up, as he drank it, you could see there was fangs when he drank his drink. Selena noticed it, but decided to ignore it, as put the cup down and continued speaking to her, "don't try the hard way, there's an easier way, you know?"
