Selena
Selena here, I got a summer cold today and I am lying down on the bed suffering because of it and Terry is out from the house. On the bright side, the internet connection is back though, this morning I even I got a message from my mom telling me to 'get well soon'. I can't invite anyone here at this place as I stared at the ceiling that has a lamp hanging from it as silence filled the air while I am lying down on my bed suffering.
Terry, where are you? Don't you know that I sacrificed my health for you?!
Terry
I stood in front of the people who was listening to my explanation on the painting I made for an exhibition. They were writing down every single thing I was saying, looking attentively at me as I spoke word by word the things that made me felt inspired to paint this.
"The painting was an inspiration from the famous poem, Love like Roses, with its subtle imagery, a serene take on the poem itself with the detailed roses surrounding the lovers but a tragedy by the looks of the thorns that holds them by their wrist."
"What were you thinking when you produced this artwork?" They asked me looking curious, and I nodded at their question.
"A mix of worry, guilt and sadness as I stroked my brush at the easel, my hand couldn't stop painting even when I was feeling down, but I knew, I was going to draw something good."
The crowd gasped when I said that, "interesting," the red-headed photographer said, as people around started taking pictures and giving smiles at me.
They don't know that inside, I am also feeling those feelings I mentioned earlier, when I get this over with, I could buy Sel some medicine, and I have to get back home before she starts sleeping on the floor or do something stupid again.
"Excellent Mr. Winchester," my teacher clapped her hands as she walked closer towards me with her smile, I could hear the sounds of her heels stepping towards me as she got near to me by an arm's reach, "for a guy who constantly wear a mask, you sure impress me, got to say I'll buy your paintings."
"Thanks."
She got closer to me as the photographer took our picture together and after the show. I was called to her office as she gave me some money inside an envelope after I agreed on the price, I was going to sell the painting. "Winchester, it seemed like your performance had been going on well, can't say I am disappointed with you at all."
"Thanks," I told her.
She gave me a smirk, "can't you make happier drawings? I know gloomy drawings isn't much of a challenge for you but what about the happier ones? So try getting inspiration okay, that's your project for now, I hope you can do it."
"Yes ma'am," I said, as I left her office.
I stood at the middle of the road to wait for the traffic lights to turn red so I could walk past it, I had my black hoodie over my head to shield me from the sunlight, I waited patiently and I felt someone tall walking closer towards me. I could feel him glaring at me, giving an intimidating aura towards me as I heard him speaking near me.
"Oi, Terry, where's Selena?"
It was Fedrick, the tallest kid in the college.
"Not you again," I said.
"You made her cry, didn't you?"
I turned around, he kind of pissed me off, I looked at him straight in the eyes while standing on my toes just to get to his height a little bit, "she just caught a cold, that's it, shut up!"
