-Terry POV-
Finally, finished packing up and rolling the tent. I went to the next tent to check out Sel, I am sure she already finished packing up too, it's quite late.
No, this fluffball is literally sleeping. I had to pull her blanket away from her to wake her up, "WAKE UP!" I shouted at her, as she just grunted and turned around.
"No..." she said covering her face, and I started shaking her, trying my best to wake her up, this girl is one problem that I would never forget until the day I die, I am sure of it.
"We are going to go home late, seriously."
She grumbled and finally sat up, "don't vampires hate mornings?"
When I said late, I mean it.
"It's evening, you woke up late," I said, as both of us went outside and she saw the orange sky. After that, the only words that were coming out of her mouth were.
"Oh..."
After she finished packing, we walked towards the bus station together as I just asked her questions that she was supposed to ask herself, "you've done your research sheets right?"
"Yeah, but so many stuffs to write, it's probably a trap, they are probably trying to make me feel annoyed because I messed up bad at exams."
"Sel, they are trying to help you," I sighed, she won't get it, won't get it at all.
After we reached the bus station, Sel started taking out her phone and I got confused, "what are you doing?"
"Texting Fedrick."
"Just wait for the bus!"
"Too late, I texted him earlier while I was packing up."
I should've stayed around every time she does something. It's dangerous for me to not be next to her, I don't know what she can do, or what she would think of doing. Whatever she thinks of doing, I am pretty sure she has done it even. It's like a gamble whether she would do something good or something stupid, and the chances of winning is 5% if I am not around there.
Right after that, I saw Fedrick driving his car with a disappointed look on his face.
"Thanks for picking us up Fedrick!" She said.
Fedrick started shaking my hand and looked me in the eyes and told me, "Terry, my man, I pity that you've been stuck with her for almost a week."
"I know right," I told him.
"What are you two talking about?" Selena said while putting her things in the back of the car, not going to answer her.
While Fedrick was driving Selena just made this sound which I would like to call the 'sound of Selena being in awe of watching trees passing' with her head outside the window that was supposed to be dangerous. I should warn her, but she's an adult with a child's mind I am not sure which side to pick.
"Terry, how did you survive in the wild?" Fedrick asked.
"What do vampires do when they are hungry?"
"You hunted?" He said, looking at me like I am weird.
"Well."
A few days ago, my blood packs ran out. Some spoiled after all, I need a fridge to keep this in and all I have is an icebox that wouldn't last for days. Humans have it easier for food supply, they can keep their food in weird packets and they could last for a year if they want to. Even though she's clearly not eating a proper human diet she still has it easier, she could spend the entire night eating chips and I can't argue with her on that.
