Making it up

Terry

It's hard to let go, I've been mean to her, all this time for my own selfishness. Every time she's right, I ignored it and think she was wrong, and what's wrong with me? Why can't I be honest with her?

I started to walked with the hood over my head back to the party, if anyone was going to make up for anything, it's going to be me. Scarlet came to me looking worried about Sel, I am pretty sure. She looked restless, "Terry, what happened? Is this Selena's hoodie?"

"It's nothing to be concerned about," I said as I walked towards the girl I saw, and she looked worried, probably because I ran out to chase after Selena just now.

"Terry, are you okay?" She asked me.

No, I am not. I don't feel okay.

       What's the point of pretending?

I should just face Maple, and tell her.

       Instead of hurting her again.

"I am sorry, I have to take it back."

I removed her memories about what I said as she got confused, and blinked her eyes a little bit before walking away from me. Thinking about it reminds me of Selena, no matter how much I try to make her forget, or even Maple tried to, she won't.

There's probably a good reason why she remembers.

I went back to the mansion as I waited for her for hours to get out of her room so I could have a proper chance to talk to her. While waiting, I even checked on the planner and what I wanted to do for tonight and probably invite her along to see it as an apology, while taking a drink from the blood pack I got. I closed the book, as I took out of contact lens and took a shower before changing clothes and watched some crime movie on the television just to pass the time.

However, I had waited for hours until the sun already started to set, and I was even getting more worried why she wasn't getting out of her room that time, doesn't she need dinner?

I started to went upstairs as I walked towards her room and tried to turn the doorknob, but it was locked. I put my ear at the door to listen whether she was crying or anything, but no sound of sobs seemed to be there. I decided to do something stupid, but I am pretty sure it was going to be worth it. I went outside of the mansion and saw her window was opened, typical of miss Selena.

I started walking up the walls, as I went inside of her room and walked up at the ceiling and I was basically hanging upside down like a bat. To my shock, she wasn't actually crying.

She was sleeping, snoring and it looked ugly. She was even drooling at the bed, that's disgusting. Also, don't tell me she had been sleeping ever since she came back home, because if so, how does humans even eat? I don't get it, honestly.

I jumped down, as I started to shake her, "wake up, you need to eat dinner."

She rubbed her eyes and yawned, "don't wanna."

"I want to show you something, but we need to get there before midnight."

When she heard that she sat up looking excited, "what? What is it?!"

"Just get some snacks, we'll be climbing the hills even more," I told her as she looked worried.

"Where are you taking me?" She asked, as I pulled her out of her bed, and she nearly fell into my arms but I managed to make her stand before that. It would've been more embarrassing if she had literally fell into my arms.
