"So they haven't stopped yet?" Michael asked, as we walked down the hallway together.
"No, and it's just a repeat of last time! But instead of boys being the main cause of it, it's girls. And my family's having dinner with the Seth's this Friday, and I don't want to be there." I whined, slowly slowing down.
It'd been a full two or so weeks since I went all the way with Michael, and the moment I had I'd expected him to pull a Nash and leave me pretty much, but he hasn't. If anything, he sticks around me even more.
Which I've grown to love. I know it's dumb, and I'm stupid for moving too fast with him but nothing bad's happened, and no dumb people have gotten in our way.
Except for Teddy, but he's determined that him and I are meant to be together when we just simply aren't.
"Hey, hey," Mikey began, stopping in front of me and resting his hands on my cheeks. "We'll get through this, together. Okay?"
"Right, right." I replied. "My mom said you could come, by the way. Just please don't make any shitty remark to Nash. He's an idiot, it's surprising he passed the first half of the semester in college before he got kicked out."
"Great, I'll be by your house at five thirty then and I can head with you guys?" I nodded, and he pressed a quick peck to my lips before pulling me to walk with him again.
"You wanna go get ice cream?" Michael asked, and I smiled brightly before I realized I had agreed to meet Teddy.
"I'd love to..." I trailed.
"But you can't," He finished for me.
"Yeah. Remember that dude that I told you about, Teddy?" I asked, biting the inside of my lip.
"Yeah, the one that screwed you over right after everything that happened with Nash, I listen to everything you tell me, babe." Mikey chuckled.
"Right, well, I had agreed to meet with him over some coffee. He has something serious to tell me, and I already told him I would so please don't be mad or like angry or anything." I held my breath.
"I'm not angry or or mad, not at all. I trust you, maybe not him so much but all that matters is that I trust you and I know you wouldn't do anything with him. Besides, you'll be in public so if he tries anything and you scream someone will notice." He replied, as we walked out of the building and into the parking lot.
We had parked right next to each other, it being something we began doing after that weekend so we knew when the other was at the campus.
"Well, thanks," I said, as Michael just reached down and grabbed my hand again.
I was very confused as to what we were, because we've been hanging out often, even been on quite a few dates. And we've seen more of each other than we probably should have, and everyone on campus thinks we're an item due to the hand-holding, hugging, kissing and him calling me babe when he gets the chance.
