It looked bad apparently. The police believed that they had knocked out Dahyun with a shovel, and buried her alive. Jisoo's fingerprints had been on the shovel.

Her neck showed signs of strangling, obviously done with gloves. So they could say it wasn't them, but them at the place where Dahyun's dead body was found, along with the shovel didn't make it look any better.

A had set them up.

Upon hearing this, Suho had actually done a whole deal just to negotiate with the cops. Lawan had followed with the next day, hissing to Lisa that their parents were not to find out about this.

Because technically, though the cops should've called their parents, they were once again, away in London for some overseas business trip, and assigned Lawan as her legal guardian, just like it had been years prior.

Thankfully with the two siblings negotiation, Lawan and Suho managed to pull the girls out of the police office, but they were still under strict supervision while the case was being investigated.

How she managed to even speak to Suho, they didn't know.

But still didn't look good. How they hell were they supposed to detangle themselves from this mess?

Lisa was just shutting her locker, then jumped back in surprise when she noticed Jungkook dressed in his familiar black attire next to her. He arched a brow, then quirked a small smile.

"You're jumpy."

"I've always been jumpy." She corrected, smoothing her hair. "What's up?"

"How are things with Officer Nayeon?"

"The cops are here." Lisa deadpanned, glancing down the hall. "I'm still under supervision or whatever."

"You okay?" Jungkook's footsteps stepped in time with hers as they headed down the hall to the left. She sighed.

"I guess. Things just haven't been going right at all, so I don't really know how to feel anymore."

Walking inside their english class, she bit her lip. Jungkook's eyes followed her gaze, then frowned.

"I know Jennie skips school, but it isn't her to just be absent several days straight."

"She went to visit Sohyun, which is what she told me." Lisa shrugged. "Maybe she needs air, I don't know."

"Did they break up?"

"Jen and Tae?"

"Yeah."

"Honestly, I don't know. All I know is that A messed with their relationship and now she can't think about him without crying."

She faced her boyfriend, resting her cheek in the palm of her hand. "Did he happen to say anything about her?"

"You know Taehyung. He doesn't like to talk about himself ever."

"I figured as much."

"Lis?"

The couple looked up, met with Chaeyoung and Taehyung standing next to her. The girl nodded at Jungkook, before turning to Lisa.

"Jennie hasn't been responding to my messages."

"Maybe she just needs a break Chaeyoung. Besides cops are at the facility with her and Sohyun, I'm sure she's fine."

"I don't believe that at all." She fired back. "No offense to her, but she's definitely hiding something from us."

"Huh?"
