Chorong
I stared at Mark's peaceful face as he slept. My hands touched his hair, face, and then went to his free hand."Sleeping after eating is a bad habit." I said, smiling.
He shifted his head position, groaning."I am going for a walk." I whispered then planted a kiss on his forehead. I stood up and walked to the direction I felt like taking.
While walking, I was thinking about everything. Why was I even thinking of taking this road and kept on meeting him? I wanted to decide what I want, today.
Well, I actually wanted to tell him about what I feel through call but since he is already here, I decided to spend some time before telling it. And the time has come, I have to tell him.
It isn't that hard, right? There is always something you need to let go and be set free from it. This time, I will truly find another road to take and fix my life.
Thinking about Mark made me, a bit hesitant but that shouldn't stop me. I looked at the direction I came from and let a heavy sigh."Is this the right?" I asked, myself.
Yeah, I finally set my mind.
I hummed as I walked back to where Mark was. He was already up and was looking around, probably for me."You are awake." I said then smiled.
"What happened?" He asked, rubbing his eyes while yawning. I just smiled as I stretched my hand out to him which he confusingly stare at."Are you okay? Why did you want me to stand?"
We stood across each other while staring. I was holding his hand when I finally decided to let it out."You know that I will eventually tell you this." I said, looking at the ground.
"What is it?"
"I just want to say-"
"-maybe, another time." Mark cut me off, touching his nape with a faint smile."How about we go and take another ride? Or you want to go back?"
"Mark-"
"Okay, let's go back and I'll listen to you." He said in a sad tone.
I pressed my lips into a hard line before opening it again."Let's stop and go on with our lives. Let's forget about this, everything between us. I already thought about what I want to do. Since there will never going to be us in the end, I'll end it right now."
I added."It will hurt less."
Mark wasn't sure about everything, he was avoiding my gaze. I wrapped my arms around his waist then rested my forehead on his chest."Sorry." He said.
I could feel his chest raising as he said it. I didn't say anything back and slowly closed my eyes. I love to stay like this forever if we could.

It shouldn't be that hard to move on, right? I thought while staring at our hands intertwined. He noticed me and smiled. I smiled back.
The car stopped, then my eyes went to the road where a bunch of ducks are walking across the road."Cute." I commented and leaned forward to watch them.
Little did I know, Mark was laughing at me. I shoot him a glare as I looked at him."What?" I asked him. He shook his head then started driving again when the ducks were gone."Why are there ducks?"
"Because, there are ducks here."
My mind processed that information, and then nodded."Right." I said. He stopped the car at the front of my apartment."Are you still coming with me?"
"Yeah." He said."I'll just park and see you here."
I smiled as I watched him drove away. While waiting for Mark, I felt like I was being watched. Could it be the person who was following me before? I turned around to caught the person but no one was there.
I was anxious. The feeling that someone is following you is scary, after all. I wanted to run after Mark where he parked his car and tell him to stay by my side.
My feet was about to move when,"Hey there." Taehyung said, chuckling. I felt relieved to see someone I know. I grabbed onto his arm as I looked around every corner to find someone."What's wrong?"
"Nothing." I said, letting go as I felt safe but Taehyung pulled me towards him as he saw Mark walking towards us. My eyes widened by his action,"W-What's wrong?" I asked.
Taehyung wasn't glaring at Mark but his grip on my arm was getting tighter and tighter. I winced, causing him to put his attention towards me."Sorry about that." He said, letting his grip loose.
"Were you on a trip together?" Taehyung asked.
Mark probably heard Taehyung asked me because he answered it for me."Yeah, we did." Mark replied whilw his eyes looking at Taehyung's grip on my arm."Why are you here?"
"I wanted to see if Chorong's okay." Taehyung said to him in a serious tone. I was always touched by Taehyung's sincerity. He would look out for me even though we are miles away."You don't have to visit her and let her hopes go to waste."
I felt my chest ached when I heard him. Mark's eyes was filled with guilt but I still managed to smile."He won't visit me, anymore." I said, then Taehyung looked at me like he regretted saying those.
"I didn't know." Taehyung said.
Mark was still staring at me, sad and angry at the same time."I want to talk to Chorong..." He paused, glancing at Taehyung."...alone." They were having a staring contests when I broke it off and told Taehyung that I'll be fine.
"So, this is a goodbye." Mark said, a bit hesitant about it. I nodded as we walked towards each other, meeting in the middle."Can I kiss you?" He asked, his arm snaked around my waist.
I looked straight into his eyes and said."You don't have to ask."
Inch by inch, Mark's face leaned towards me. I felt his lips brushed mine and gave me the chills. My feet jumped a bit as he pulled me closer. The kiss has a lot of action which makes it really the last kiss. He slowly pulled away with his forehead resting on mine."I love you."
"I love you more." I whispered as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
