We are all panicking in the hotel room where Hayoung and Chorong stayed."Her phone is turned off." I said as I try to dial her number again.

Hayoung was walking back and forth."Search for her. Don't stop until you find Chorong." She said, worried.

"I told you, we shouldn't have took her in this trip." I threw my phone on the bed. I don't even care if it caused damage to my phone.

"Why are you trying to put the fault on me?" Hayoung shouted as she walked towards me. I sat on the bed, ruffling my head in frustration.

Hyunjin sighed."She must've wanted to be alone." He said like nothing's wrong about the situation."You mentioned how she remembered everything, now."

I nodded."I guess, she was shocked about everything." I felt guilty for it and should've stayed away as soon as possible.

Chorong disappeared during our hiking, I should have put my attention to her but I wanted to give her space. I walked out of the room to have some fresh air.

I didn't noticed that I was already at the garden. It's already night and it's getting cold. My phone rung, my father's caller ID showed up.

I placed the phone on my ear,"I heard about what happened." was the first thing he said as I picked up.

"What did I expect?" I asked, scoffing.

"Jane will go there. So, try to spend time with her. I don't want to hear anything about cancelling the engagement." Dad told me. I sighed as I leaned on the chair, closing my eyes.

"How is mom?" I asked.

He didn't answer right away."She is in her office. Call her if you want." He hanged up.

I was about to go when someone called me again, Ashley."You actually called me." I answered.

"I miss you, too." She said, annoyed."I heard about the girl from dad. Which basically means, I eavesdropped."

"I don't need to hear it from you, also."

"I am telling you to just do what dad wants and leave her alone."

"I don't want to be like you. You are married but with someone who doesn't even care about you." I hanged up this time and sighed. Maybe I was a bit harsh to her.

In my whole life, I just wanted to do what I want. I stood up from the bench and entered to the lobby."You are here?" I asked.

"I figured you might need a friend at this time." Hyunjin said. I nodded and sighed as I felt hopeless."Is your father doing something again?"

He has always been my friend since we were kids and he knew what's up with my life."He already knew and sent Jane to Jeju Island." I told him.

"Sucks to have a father like him." He said, causing us both to snort."But, Jane is a nice girl. Why not try?"

I shook my head."You don't even know here but you know I can't do it." I replied.

"You can." He paused, sighing."You just chose not to, because you still love Chorong."

I couldn't deny what he said and just stared at the ground. To think, he and Chorong had a relationship before too."We understood each other." I said.

"Chorong came up to me and told me to stop and for the first time, she was angry."

"She asked me 'Why do you have to keep pretending?' which made me feel contented." I added, then checked my phone.

Hyunjin patted my shoulder."I'll stay with Hayoung, tonight." He said then walked away.

I felt the heavy feeling on my chest gone. I walked towards the elevator then pushed the floor button. Yesterday, I tried stopping myself from telling her my feelings."But, I couldn't." I said out loud.

I heard the elevator doors opened and saw someone entering our hotel room."Don't tell me, she is already here." I muttered.

As soon as I reached our room, Jane was already there instructing her bodyguards where to place her things."Put it there." She said.

"Go and find a different room." I said. She heard my voice and turned to look at me."You can't stay here."

Jane flicked her wavy hair and pretended I wasn't there."You can go outside." She said to her bodyguards.

The bodyguards left and closed the door behind them. I quickly grabbed her bags,"Let's go and find a room for you." I said.

"I am staying here." Jane said, taking her bags away from me."Your dad told me to stay by your side which is what I am doing."

I sighed."Wait here." I said, taking my phone out. I dialed Hyunjin's number and called him.

Jane walked towards me and wrapped her arms around my waist."Will you stop holding on to someone who isn't here?" She asked.

I pushed her away."You don't tell me what to do."

"I do, because I am your fiancee."

Her voice was demanding, which made me uncomfortable."I don't want to talk to you, anymore." I said.

"Promise me that you'll stop chasing that girl." She told in anger. I didn't want to hear her nonsense and opened the door."You are so attached to her that you can't even look at me."

Should I run away, too? I asked myself as I walked on the hallway with Jane shouting at me."Come back here!" Jane shouted."You are going anywhere, Mark!"

"Stop acting like you care!" I yelled at her and pushed the elevator button. Perfect timing, Hayoung and Hyunjin was on the elevator as it opened.

Hayoung walked passed me, running to Jane while Hyunjin talked to me."She'll stay with Hayoung on the other hotel room." He said."Are you both fighting?"

"She's a bit out of control." I simply said."But, take care of her."

"It's only been minutes since she got here."He said in disbelief."Where are you going?"

I shrugged."I am going to stay here, why are you asking?" I asked. He nodded like he was relieved.

"I don't know what you are thinking about." He replied, walking towards Jane and Hayoung holding bags. He offered help."Don't do anything stupid."

"Like, I would."

"You would."

I didn't even look at Jane as she went in the elevator with my friends. I shouldn't have yelled at her. I walked back to my room and closed it.

I silently lied on my bed while staring at the ceiling. There might be a chance, I won't see her again. Chorong knows what she is doing, I thought.
