It's been a week since the vacation and today is finally Naeun's wedding. I silently stared at the mirror."Get yourself together."

I grabbed my car keys on my bed and went to my garage. The church wasn't far away from my house, I got there not too long ago.

People were laughing, they were happy with Naeun and her groom."Mark, how have you been?" Her mom asked me as she moved in for a hug.

"I am doing great, how about you?" I asked, letting go from the hug.

Her mom squeezed my arm and smiled."I am happy for my daughter." She replied, then went to the other guests.

I stared at everyone who is outside the church, until they started going in because the bride is going to arrive soon.

We were finally standing, anticipating for the bride's arrival. Naeun had her hair in a bun and had a fabric on her head.

Chorong should have been here to see her. I just smiled, thinking how lonely it is again. I was staring at the whole scene happening.

"Kiss the bride." was the only thing I heard, clearly.

Everyone is cheering at the newlyweds. I was going to my car to go to the reception."I know, stop ranting about why I am here and let's go." Jane said.

I didn't even try and went inside my car. She hopped in by herself."Your dad told me to come." Jane said while admiring herself in the rear mirror.

"You should have lied and not come." I replied, starting the engine.

The car ride was noisy because Jane won't stop talking about herself and her day. I parked on the parking area of the hotel and left the car.

Jane walked beside me."We are going to get married soon, too." She reminded me as she cling on my arm.

"I know." I replied, then pushed her arm away from me."But, you have to remember that it's all about business."

"Nothing is impossible. You might fall in love with me." She said, then walked ahead. I sighed, walking behind her.

There were already a lot of people and the newlyweds were already present, too."You came." Naeun's mom said.

Her parents are welcoming people on the entrance. I bowed at the both of them and smiled."Congrats."

Jane reached for Naeun's mom to shake her hand."Congratulations." She said, clinging on to my arm again.

"Your fiancee, I suppose?" Naeun's mom asked. I nodded then led Jane to the table where my name is on. I sat on a chair and checked my phone.

Jane keeps on talking that I don't know if I could still keep up with her."Are you even listening to me?" She asked.

"No." I replied.

"Can you try?" She asked in annoyance and grabbed the phone from me. I sighed and looked at her."Good."

Jane kept on showing up since Chorong was gone. It was a move I was expecting from my father, anyway. "What were you talking about?" I asked.

"Let's get married this year." I was shocked and couldn't reply to what she just said and felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. Wooyoung is calling me.

I stood up from my chair and went outside."Hello?" I answered as I picked it up."Do you have any news about her?"

"She was last seen at a library with a child." He said."Why do you even ask for information if you won't look for this girl?"

"I don't want to bother her." I simply said and thanked him as I hanged up. I was relieved that she is doing fine on her own, but who is the child?

After the reception, I told Jane that I can't give her a ride and went home. I had a nice shower before driving to work. Everything was normal at work except the empty desk outside of my office.

I went inside my office to find Ashley sitting on my chair."Well, you finally came." She said, taking her sunglasses off. Who has the right mind using those inside?

"I am here, so get out of there." I said, walking towards what's mine. She stood up and sat on the sofa as she drink on her americano."What do you need?"

Ashley sighed."Don't you have any plans on getting a new secretary?" She asked, looking outside. I shook my head."Let me guess, you are expecting her to come back?"

I started rummaging on my desk to find the papers I need and signed the papers, that I have to sign. Ashley snorted,"You are." She mocked.

"I am busy. Will you leave?" I asked as I looked at her."Don't even."

She shrugged."I hope you do know that father is just doing what he thinks is right." Ashley said before leaving the office.

I leaned on my chair and let out a deep breath. I pushed the buttons on the telephone and placed it on my ear."I need to see the progress of the project. See me at my office." I said.

It was already pass the working hours, I shut down the computer and cleaned my desk."Be careful, please go home after you finish." I said to the old man, a janitor for quite a while here as I walk passed the hallway.

Surprised, I saw Taehyung still on the building. He was talking to someone on his phone. I was about to pass by when I heard him call my name.

I turned around."What happened on that day?" He asked, hiding his phone in his pockets. He must be talking about the trip.

"You should ask her." I simply replied.

Taehyung shrugged and said,"She won't even tell me." I was even shocked to hear that from him and he realized."She didn't called you?"

I glanced at the ground as I gulped."She didn't." I replied, without showing how affected I am.

"I'll get going, then. Good night, Mr. Tuan." He said as he walked to the parking area where his motorcycle is.

I was about to go but I called out Taehyung."Where are you going?" I asked him.

"Home." He said then left as soon as I nodded. I walked towards my car and hopped in it. I don't know why but I decided to go and visit her mother.

As I reached their house, I saw her mother walking. She was holding bags with vegetables and other ingredients. Her mother must've gone and bought for dinner.

I went outside and approached her."Good evening." I greeted her with manner.

She gasped and then smiled at me."Why are you here, Mark?" She asked which made me happy for some reason.

I bowed at her and offered to help her with one of the bags she is holding."I just wanted to visit you." I said, then followed her inside.
