Chorong
Hamin was holding my hand as he slowly enjoy his ice cream, I gave him cookies and cream."You look like a mother." I heard Mark said.
I kicked the back of his leg. Mark just laughed at what I did and placed his hand on my shoulder."Are you mad?" He asked, like he didn't know.
I rolled my eyes as I carefully caressed Hamin's hair."Just tell me if you want to have another ice cream." I whispered to the kid with a smile."And, tell your mother to take you to the barber shop."
Hamin nodded."I will."
"Now, you sound like a mother." Mark told me with a smirk. I pushed him away while I was glaring at him. He must've noticed how angry I am, now."Okay, sorry."
I scoffed."You are sorry?" I whispered-yelled at him since a kid was beside us."I rather not have called you if I didn't had the slightest hope that you will change your mind."
"I know I am the worst." Mark said putting his hands up in surrender. He knew this day would come and I hope I did, too."Let me have this day with you, only."
Mark was begging with his eyes which I can't resist at all. I knelt in front of Hamin and told him."How about you sit at that bench while I am going to talk to him? Is that okay for you?"
Hamin was obedient and did what I told him to do. I cleared my throat and turn around to talk to Mark."Hey." He said with a smile. I stared as I realized how good-looking he is.
"Will you stop flirting with me?" I asked.
"Who said I was?" Mark asked, shrugging. I just smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Because of our height, he had to bow down for me."My neck hurts."
I didn't bother taking my arms off and giggled. At least, make me happy before you leave."This is because I really miss you." I whispered to his ears and planted a kiss on his cheeks.
I guess, the way I talk to him has been a bit different since my memories came back." I did, too." as he wrapped his arms to mine as well. I know how will this be in the end of the day.
"So, are we going to stay like this?" I asked him.
"If you want to."
"If you want to have a bad neck." I replied, with a cheeky smile. I slowly let go of him as I walk backwards. I guess, my acting is very bad. Mark stares at me as he noticed that I was tearing up."I am not okay."
"Choro-"
"I said, I am not okay!" I yelled at him, then walked towards the exit of the playground. I knew he was going to come after so I turn around before he could stop me."This is what you wanted, right? For me, to leave you and go for another guy."
"I wanted you to-"
"Don't even start with me, Mark. I know what you want and I'll do it." I said, biting my lower lip to stop myself from crying. I might be being dramatic over a guy but he is not just someone."I appreciated how you came here and see me."
Mark felt guilty, I can see it on his face. I smiled, reassuring him that I am truly fine."I will stay for a while." He told me. I nodded as we stood in the middle of the playground with kids running around."I am sorry."
"Stop." I said.
"What?"
"Stop apologising."
He silently grabbed my hand and caressed the top of it. I laughed at how truly embarrassing this thing, that is happening now."I can't do anything. You know that."
I simply nodded, trying to minimize our fights. Mark knows he can do something but nothing will change."Does your father know that you are here?"
"No." He said."I don't want him to."
"That's nice." I replied, half smiling.
We were standing there in silence but it didn't last when we both heard Mark's phone ringing."I should've put my phone to silent mode." He jokingly said as he grabbed the phone.
I chuckled."I agree."
Mark excused himself for a moment and went behind a bush to answer the call. I glanced at Hamin, who already went back to playing with his friends. I sighed, then sat on the empty bench.
He was taking a long time talking to someone and that is when I realized that someone was already walking towards him. It was someone whom I never saw. I wanted to run towards them but do I have the right?
I was about to walk when the girl saw me and started fast walking towards me. She immediately grabbed my hair before I could talk then pulled it."Stop being a whore." I heard her loud and clear.
My hands reached her hair and started pulling hers, too. I don't know why this girl is doing this but I won't let her step on me. Her mouth opened again,"He is my fiancée. So, don't ever try to take him."
"He wasn't even yours." I fought back.
Mark was trying to stop us but why will I stop if this girl won't? Then eventually," Jane, I am going to talk to my father if you won't stop." He said. Jane stopped from pulling my hair and was catching her breath.
"You need me." Jane said with assurance and then glanced at me."And, I am telling you that Mark will always come back to me."
I didn't try talking back and simply let out a deep breath. Mark grabbed Jane's arm as he dragged her away. I laughed at myself from even trying to fight my right when I feel like a mistress. He is not my first but I want him to be my last, I thought.
I walked away as I try to compose myself from what just happened."He probably wasn't mine in the first place." I mumbled.
