After the most difficult trek in Nataris lifetime, she and Jaqen had finally arrived through the gates of Meereen. Outlaws, warlords, heat waves, hunger and sand storms. They had survived it all.
"Well this is a surprise," a familiar voice chuckled as the walked through the city.
"Tyrion Lannister, what is the gods name are you doing in Meereen?" Natari smiled.
"I am blamed for killing Joffrey after you sweet sister ran away from the scene and then I actually killed my father. I wasn't very welcome at the Red Keep after that".
"I'd imagine not, but Meereen. What are you doing in this particular city?"
"Serving the Queen which will save all our damned souls."
"Ah yes, the mother of dragons. You truly have jumped ships. Well, I have some news of my own and I have travelled a great distance to share it. Perhaps you would be so kind as to take me to her grace?"
"Why of course," Tyrion smiled and held out his arm of her.
If Natari and Jaqen were not already exhausted, they certainly were after the climb to the palace where high upon her throne, Daenerys Targaryen sat calmly waiting.
"My grace, may I introduce you to Natari Snow. She is the bastard daughter of Neddard Stark, an honourable man whom lost his head at the hands of the boy king." Tyrion introduced.
"I know of Lord Stark. I know how he was the one to help the usurper kill my family and take our throne," Daenarys called back with a proud and confident voice.
"I am afraid the kind Tyrion is incorrect in his introduction of me... Your grace. Perhaps we may speak alone?" Natari asked as she stepped forward.
"You are in my palace, surrounded by those I trust. You may speak in front of us all or not at all".
"Well, I'm not sure how you are going to take my news, if you even believe it in the first place," Natari sighed as she watched Lord Varys suddenly appear into the room.
"Speak!" Daenerys ordered as Varys smiled at Natari.
In shock at how both Tyrion and Varys had actually ended up here, Natari tried to clear her mind and remember her planned speech. "Once your father was murdered by the kingslayer, and the war had finally ended, Lord Stark journeyed to the Tower of Joy. He had never truly believed in the war that Robert started, but he had joined the fight to bring his younger sister back home. Lord Stark and Robert believed that Lyanna Stark had been kidnapped by your brother, Rhaegar Targaryen. They were wrong though, despite Rhaegar being married to another, he and Lyanna were in fact, madly in love. Lyanna had not been kidnapped, she had, in fact, ran away with her Dragon Prince. While together, Lyanna fell pregnant and they married under the light of the seven in a secret location. Lord Stark found this to be true when he travelled to the Tower of Joy, where inside he found his sweet sister holding two newborn twins her arms."
"And you tell me this because?" Daenerys asked.
"Lyanna Stark had become gravely unwell upon giving birth to the children, a boy and a girl, but with her dying breath, she begged her brother to protect them. So Ned did as his sister asked, returning home to Winterfell, with two bastard children, Jon and Natari Snow."
Daenerys quickly looked at the members of her council, her cool and confident slowly melting away.
"My father told me in a letter before he lost his head. This was then confirmed sometime later, where I had returned to Winterfell to save Sansa Stark from the Boltons who had killed our family. I burnt the castle to the ground, among with my enemies. I should have died that day as well. I had become trapped within the flames, but when I awoke the next day, surrounded by the burnt remains of Winterfell and the Bolton men, I was unharmed. The fire had covered my body, yet it left me unburnt".
"If what you say is true-"
"You are my aunt" Natari finished her sentence and gently bowed her head.
"Your grace, if I may speak?" Varys smiled as he stepped into the light of the room.
"Yes?" Daenerys replied, as she still eyed Natari with wonder.
"I have known this to be the truth for some time. My little birds have whispered this to me on many occasions. Natari is your niece, and Jon your nephew".
"And you kept this from me?"
"I did not have any proof, your grace. I wasn't sure whether Natari was even alive until very recently, and then I spent her a letter and told her to travel to us".
Natari shook her head, of course, it was Varys, that man would outlive them all with his plans and smarts.
"So, say I do believe this story you tell, why do you travel here? What is it you want?" Daenerys finally spoke after a moments silence.
"I know you wish to return to your homeland. To take back your throne and lands, but the Lannister are strong, they have the armies and the money to fend off any attack. But my grace, there is a bigger enemy that threatens all those living. One much greater than any before".
Natari began to tell Daenerys of the night king and his army of the dead. How there was a small group at the wall that planned to defend and fight for the living, but they could not do it alone.
"There is no point returning to Westeros if the dead have already arrived," Natari explained.
"I have had my people building a fleet of ships for my army. Yesterday they finished the last one. Tomorrow we shall travel across the narrow sea for my birthplace Dragon Stone. Send word to your brother, have him meet us there and we can discuss the matters further".
"Of course your grace, but I must warn you. The Lannisters and their army are all over the narrow sea. It may be safer to travel another way?"
"We will be safe. They may have their army, but I have dragons".
The next morning Natari sent a raven with her message to Jon. As she watched the bird fly away from the balcony of her room, she felt Jaqen wrap his arms around her from behind.
"You did well yesterday," he whispered into her ear.
"And today I travel back home, but what of you, Jaqen? What do you plan?"
"To follow you into death if you allow it," he smiled as he pressed his lips to her neck and slowly ran his hand up her body until they grabbed onto her chest.
Natari replied with a gentle moan as Jaqen began to suck on the skin of her lower neck and twist her hardened nipples with his fingers. Just when things between the two became hotter, there was a sudden knock at their door and Varys and Tyrion walked inside.
"Excuse me, I did not mean to interrupt," Tyrion chuckled as they walked into the room.
Jaqen quickly let go of Natari and walked to the other side of the room.
"What is it I can do for you?" Natari smiled as she patted down her clothes.
"I wanted to thank you. Having another voice who knows Westeros well is what our council needs. Daenerys is and will be a great ruler, but I think she will find the true state of affairs across the waters troubling. But with a new family, it will make the journey easy," Varys smiled.
"Her grace doesn't seem to believe my words yet. My main priority is what lays beyond the wall, not whose ass sits upon the throne." Natari replied in a more serious tone.
"In time she will and I hope you will become a trusted member of the council. I think with you on our side we may stand a better chance."
