After Robb Stark had called upon all the bannermen in the north they had travelled south. On their journey, they had met his mother, Lady Stark. In order to continue their journey south to save Lord Eddard Stark, they would need to cross the Towers which were guarded by the Freys. Lady Stark had spoken with Lord Walter Frey and in order for them to cross the waters, Robb Stark had to agree to marry one of Lord Frey's many daughters. Disgruntled Robb had agreed and they were now closer to reaching their goal.

The Northern Men had made camp a few leagues south of the river trident when an unexpected guest staggered into their camp.

"Your grace, we found her wondering around a league away from the camp," one of the Umber Men announced as he walked into Robb Starks tent.

"Grace?" Natari laughed as she walked into the tent

"Sister?" Robb gasped as he ran over to his dirt-covered and starved sister.

"Where are my daughters?" Lady Stark snapped harshly.

Natari pulled away from her brother and looked down at her feet. She went to explain to them of their Lord fathers death, how she had hoped Lord Varys plan would work, how she saw the Night's guardsman take Arya and her and Sansa's plan to escape. Lady Stark covered her mouth in shock as she tried to fight back the tears of the news about her husband's death. "How did you make it here?" Robb asked gravely.

"There was nothing I could do," Natari began to cry. "I begged her to jump but it was too late, they took her. I knew if I went back in for her I would lose all hope of saving her, they would have killed me. So I ran through the darkness of the underground. Some of the guards found me, but I had my weapon and was able to cut them down. I kept running and running, I heard whispers at the Inns of your journey south so I just kept going."

"You did all you could sister," Robb spoke softly as he pulled her into another tight hug.

"All she could, Robb! Your sisters are still gone. Heaven knows what the Queen will do to Sansa. And you left her!" Lady Stark spat with anger.

"Enough mother!" Robb roared as Lady Stark stormed out of the tent, leaving the brother and sister alone.

"So... your grace?" Natari forced a smile.

"Aye, my men have named me King in the North. You looked starved Nat, you must rest now," Robb gently smiled back as he stroked her head.

"Piss on that Robb. I will eat and repack my supply's. You have a war to win Robb, please allow me to continue my journey north and find our sweet Arya?"

Robb examined her eyes with a serious brow. "You can fight as well as any man here sister, go find our sister and I promise you, I will defend our father's death and kill those who hurt us."

Further South in Kings Landing, King Joffrey was sat upon the Iron Throne. The court was filled with the Lady's and Lords as Sansa knelt before them all and cried.

"I was right about that bastard bitch. She is a traitor, just like your father and pitifully brother!" Joffrey was seething with anger and Sansa began to cry harder.

"I will punish you for their treason, but my mother tells me it is wrong for a King to hit his lady. I will need to think about your punishment," Joffrey added and then one of the guards pulled her away.

For the next two days, Sansa was locked in her apartment within the castle. No one would look or speak to her as she cried away the days. On the third day after her failed escape, the guards came for her and took her onto the castle walls to meet the King.

"Look up there my lady, do you see that?" Joffrey smiled wickedly as Sandor stood behind them, as still as a statue.

Sansa continued to look down at her feet, trying to stop her body from shaking with fear.

"I said LOOK!" Joffrey shouted as he pulled her close and forced her head up to look.

Upon the walls were the spikes with the head of her dead father. "You see there next to your father, the empty spike, I promise I will put the bastard head of your sister on that one, and then your traitor brother," he laughed

"Or maybe she'll bring me yours," she mumbled under her breath.

"What did you say?" Joffrey spat angrily as Sansa found the courage to look at the boy she had grown to hate so much.

"Ser Meryn?" Joffrey spoke coldly to his guard who walked up to Sansa and slapped her hard across the face.

Sansa didn't make a noise or drop one tear as the boy King walked past her. "Dog, take Lady Sansa back to her room," Joffrey commanded before walking away.

Sansa walked to the edge of the walkway and looked down at the ground far below. It would be so simple she thought, just as she felt a strong hand on her shoulder.

"Don't girl," Sandor grumbled as he wiped the blood from her lip.

"Save yourself some pain, give the King what he wants," Sandor advised her as he escorted her down the corridor.

As they finally approached her door Sansa turned to face Sandor. "Thank you Ser," she mumbled.

"I stopped your sister from jumping off the tower once. Stay quiet and keep singing your lady songs and you'll survive this."
