At first Natari could only see one dragon, but then another appeared over the cliifs around the frozen lake, which was quickly followed by a third. Breathing out their molten fire, the frozen ice around then cracked open as the dead began to fall away. Sandor still had Natari wrapped tightly in his arms as the rest of the group gathered near by and watch their saviours in the sky.
Imploring the dragons to continue without mercy, Daenarys guided Drogon to the ground next to the group. Jon approached her first as the dragon lowered its wind to allow them to climb upon him. Jon couldn't hide his smile at seeing her, as Daenarys held out her hand for him. Jon was about to climb onto the majestic beast when a walker charged up to his side. Moving away, Jon pulled out his sword and went to stop of the dead.
"Get my sister on first" he ordered Clegane as he charged to the white walker.
Natari desperately wanted to go and help her brother, but Sandor was practically carrying her towards the dragon and pushing her to safety.
As Jon continued to defeat the few remaining walkers, the rest of the group climbed to safety. As the last man, Jorah stepped onto the dragons back with their proof of the undead, a spear went flying across the sky.
Suddenly, an ear deafening scream erupted above, as the spear slammed into Viserion and the dragon fell from the sky. Instantly the other dragons roared out in pain as Daenarys watched one of her children crash into the icy lake and submerge into the dark water. As the group watched the dragon disappear from sight, Natari looked over to her brother.
"Jonnnnnn" she screamed out as Sandor continued to hold on to her tightly.
For a split second the siblings eyes met, and Natari felt a sudden intense fear flood her body. Jon quickly looked away and turned around to see the white walker pick up another spear.
"Goooo. Go now. Gooo" Jon commanded as he began to charge towards them, killing any remaining walker in his way.
"No" Natari whispered as she watched her brother desperately run towards them.
Suddenly, three walkers charged at Jon's side, catching him completely unaware. Natari screamed as she Jon fall into the dark icy water with the dead. The other white walker with the spear was now readying his weapon to throw. Daenarys glared at them before quickly looking forwards and commanding her dragon to go.
"NOOOOO, JON. NOOOO. WAIT. JON, PLEASE, NOOOOO" Natari screamed over and over again as the dragon took to the air and the tears on her cheeks froze to her skin.
As they glided higher and higher, Natari was shaking in Sandor arms as she tried to look for any sign for her brother, but saw only the dead. Thousands of them.
As the sight of the dragons disappeared from view on the frozen lake. Jon's sword lay in the snowy ground as silence fell over the landscape. Suddenly, a hand appeared from the dark waters and Jon Snow appeared out, gasping for breath as the burning cold air freezes his lungs.
With his last strength, he pulled himself onto the solid ice and reached out for his sword. The weight of his water drenched clothes made each movement almost impossible, yet Jon continued on until his entire body felt solid ground.
"Natari" Jon whispered to himself as he tried to calm his breathing and forced his eyes to stay open.
The army of the unread had slowly been making their exit, when they heard the movement of his body on the frozen ground. Slowly, thousands of the dead turned to see Jon Snow lay on the ground a few meters away from them. Jon watched as they turned their attention to him, and forced himself to stand up. Each step he took felt harder than the last, but roaring himself on, Jon continued onwards.
The bitter cold was causing his soaking wet clothes to freeze to his body though. Each breath burnt in his chest and Jon suddenly realised, he had no where to run too. Turning back around, he looked at the army of the dead slowly approaching him.
Jon prepared his sword for battle, knowing it would likely be his last, as he allowed himself to think of his sweet sister one last time. Suddenly, Jons disappear was cut short. An unknown figure had appeared, charging through the army of the dead on horse back, killing any that got in his path. When the unknown horseman reached Jon, he pulled his horse to a stop and jumped down. Charging towards Jon, the man pulled down his hood.
"Uncle Benjen?" Jon shivered as the familiar yet somehow different face grabbed onto Jon and pulled him onto his horse.
"You ride for the path" Benjen urged him once Jon was on the horse.
"No, there no time" Benjen sighed, shaking his head as she slapped the horse in action and turned back to the army of the dead.
As the horse galloped away from the frozen lake, Jon looked back to see his uncle battling with the walkers, gradually they surrounded him completely, and Jon could no longer see his Uncle Benjen.
Further across the lake, a thousand white walkers pulled the corpse of Viserion out of the icy water. Pulling on the chains, heaving the beast, as the White King stood and watched with his icy blue eyes.
Once the dragon was finally removed from the water. It's body laying lifelessly on the frozen ground, the white King approached the him. Placing his icy blue hand on the dragon, the landscape fell completely silent. After a few seconds, Viserion opened his eyes, his ice blue eyes.
A.N - I'm so sorry for not updating on either my of GOT stories recently. Things have been a bit crazy/traumatic for me recently, and for a short while I lost my want to keep writing. A lot of changes have happened in the last 24 hours though, and I'm finally feeling my love for writing again. I promise I am continuing on with both stories and will be updating more regularly again. Writing these stories has been the one of the few positive things I've enjoyed recently and I'm so grateful for all the comments and votes. It honestly makes it all worth while for me. So again, I'm really sorry and I hope you enjoy this latest update. It's a bit small (and may have a few spelling mistakes as I'm stocked up on flu medicine at the minute), but I've finished the next three chapters already and can't wait for you guys to read what happens next! Xx
