Natari felt as though her soul left her body as she plunged the blade into Daenerys heart. She couldn't remember it at all, only coming back to herself once the act was over and she knelt on the ground with the dead body in her arms. The blood that coloured her hands was still warm and sticky, but the sentence had been passed and then finally, completed.

Gone now where all her enemies from the world. Those who had killed those closest to her, but in that moment she had never felt more alone. As she closed her eyes and thought of Jon, praying that he was with the rest of their family now and believed she had done the right thing, the bells of King Landing suddenly erupted all over the city. The Last War was indeed over.

As she expected, the last dragon had felt his mothers death, and as the bells rang through the city, he approached the half destroyed grand hall. Natari knew the beast would not harm her, it couldn't no matter how much it wanted to as she was also its blood. Yet glaring through his large mean eyes, the dragon snarled his teeth at her as he picked up its mother from the ground.

Quickly, Natari moved away and watched as the dragon flew through the broken roof and off into the ash filled sky with its mother. She continued to stare until long after its  figure could no longer be made out. It was over, finally, years of pain and suffering had resulted in two last battles and now, well now was the start of a new beginning. Of course those who had survived would struggle for the rest of their lives to come to terms with things they had witness. So much trauma and death they had all faced, but faced it they had and together they would continue on.

Natari was so deep in thought now that she had not noticed the presence of another behind her.

"The city is yours, my grace" the familiar voice announced as she felt thick, long arms reach around her from behind.

"I grew up a bastard in Winterfell. Set to take no lands or birth no lords or ladies, and now... now I am your grace. I still cannot believe it" she smiled and leant her back into the chest of her dear husband.

"Ah, you were a bastard and I a sworn sword for a shit. Neither of us belong here, but it's where we are and I wouldn't want anyone else at my side. A lot of people would not have made it through all of this without you. I would definitely be dead in some ditch long ago. You have lead us through it all though and now.."

"Now we will have peace" she smiled.
