"Your sweet sisters and wolf seemed to have made quite a mess of Ramsay," Little finger chuckled from behind as Jon examined into the cell.
"What do you want?" Jon grunted and turned around to face him.
"You father, or perhaps uncle, would be very proud of you now. Ned, your brother Robb, all trying to protect their family, do what was right and honourable, yet here you stand, the bastard son, King of the North. Mind you, your father never had much mind for me, he knew of my affection for his lady wife, I loved her you see".
"You don't belong up here, in the north," Jon glared.
"Forgive me, I know we never spoke before, I wanted to remedy that".
"I have nothing to say to you," he replied before turning to walk away.
"Not even a thank you? If it wasn't me you would have been slaughtered on that battlefield. I wonder what would have happened to the sweet and deadly Natari, and Sansa and Arya? You have many enemies my King, but I am not one of them."
Jon stopped now as he felt a rage burn inside of him. How dare he speak to him of his sister's fate.
"I love Sansa, as I loved her mother," little finger added.
Jon had officially heard enough now, quickly he turned back around and grabbed the man by the throat, slamming him into the stone wall. Jon could feel his struggle under his grip as he watched the snake squirm.
"Touch my sister, go near any of them, and I'll kill you myself" he growled.
The next day, Jon and a few of his men left Castle Black to seek out more families who would be willing to join the fight against the dead. In his stead, he had promised to return within two days, no matter the outcome. With his departure, Little Finger took his opportunity to speak with Sansa.
"You know he will bend the knee to Daenerys. He never wished to be King and he only thinks of some possible battle with the undead" he scoffed as he sat drinking wine with the young lady. "I also hear that the dragon queen is quite beautiful" he shrugged.
"What does that have to do with anything?" Sansa scoffed.
"Jon is still young and unmarried. Daenerys is young and unmarried..."
"You think he wishes to marry her? They are related!"
"And the Targaryen once only married their own. Together they'd be difficult to defeat. He was named King in the North, but he can be unnamed".
"Even if I wanted to, Arya and Natari would never go along with it. They have both always loved Jon far more than they ever loved me. Natari would kill anyone who betrayed her family, she'd do much worse if it was Jon".
"Would Natari really murder you? She spent the last year's searching for you."
"Do you know what she is now? Who that man she returned from Braavos was? Who the faceless men are?" she replied and shook her head.
"Only by reputation. I understand that they worship of the god of death or something. I never trust godly men though".
"Their killers and Natari was one of them, laid with one of them!"
Sansa watched as Little Finger planned his next move, but he did not know that she was already several steps ahead of him. "What do you think she's after?"
"She's your sister, well, cousin really. You'll understand her motivates far better than I ever could," he sighed and drank down the rest of his wine.
Later that day, Sansa ordered one of Jon's men to bring Natari and Arya to the hall. When the girls arrived, Sansa was already sat at the long table at the end of the hall with Bran. Stood around the walls were various nights watchmen, wildlings and other loyal northern men.
"Are you sure you want to do this sister?" Natari smiled as she looked at Sansa and then down at Arya who stood proudly at her side.
"It is what honour demands." Sansa sighed.
"And what does honour demand?" Arya asked with a sly smirk
"That I defend my family from those who harm us."
"Alright then, get on with it," Natari yawned with a lazy shrug.
With a deep breath, Sansa rose from her seat. "You stand accused of murder, you stand accused of treason. How do you answer to these charges... Lord Baeliesh".
Suddenly, every single eye in the room was upon him. It almost took him a moment to realise she had said his name, as he stood by the wall smugly smiling.
"My sister asked you a question!" Arya smiled.
Finally, he found his tongue as he turned to Sansa. "Lady Sansa, forgive me, I am a bit confused".
"Oh, well what charges are you confused about Lord Baelish?" She asked and leant across the table. "Perhaps I shall start with the easier one. Your murdered our aunt. You pushed her through the moon door and watched her fall. Do you deny it?"
"I did that only to protect you".
"You did it to take power in the Vale. You made our aunt spend a letter to our parents, stating that it was the Lannisters that killed her husband. It was you who started the great conflict between the Starks and the Lannister. Do you deny it?"
"I know of no such thing," he squirmed.
"You conspired with Cersei to betray our father, Ned Stark. Thanks to you he was later executed. Do you deny it?"
"I deny it!" he called out across the hall.
"You told our mother, that this knife belonged to Tyrion Lannister, but that was another one of your lies!" Arya added as she pulled out the blade that was used long ago in the attempted assassination of Bran.
"When in fact, it was yours!" Natari hissed.
Panicked now, Baelish ran towards the table which Sansa sat and pleaded. "Lady Sansa I have known you since you we're a girl. Protected you..."
"Protected me? By selling me to the Boltons!"
"This is all her, she has filled your head with lies. If we could possibly speak alone, I could explain everything," he begged as he looked at Natari with disgust and then back at Sansa.
"I understand you now, why you tried to turn me against my sisters. That's what you do isn't, you turn family against family and sister against sister. That's what you did to our mother and aunt, and that is what you tried to do to us. I'm a slow learner, I shall grant you that, but I learn." Sansa glared at him.
"Sansa, give me a chance to defend myself. Give me that at least?"
Sansa sat back in her chair and looked at her two sisters.
Quickly, Lord Baelish turned the knights of the vale. "I am Lord of the Vale and I demand you take me back immediately".
"We think not," a man snarled at him.
Desperately Little Finger now fell to this knees in front of his judge and jury and began to cry. "Sansa, I beg you. I loved your mother from the day I was born".
"Yet you betrayed her!" Arya snapped.
"I loved you, more than anyone".
"And yet you betrayed me. When you brought me back to Winterfell you told me there was no justice in the world, not unless we make it ourselves. So I thank you all your many lessons Lord Baelish." Sansa smiled and looked at Natari.
Natari looked down at Arya and nodded as Sansa stood from her chair "I will never forget them," she added.
Calmly Arya walked over to the desperate man, with the blade he had once held to her father's neck, she quickly sliced it across his throat as he whispered his last word.
"Sansa".
