Bran's vision had brought his group to a heart tree deep in the Forrest lands beyond the wall. Just as they had approached it, the group had been attacked by the dead. Bran was certain that all there pain would be in vain, but thankfully they had been saved by the most surprising creatures.

Children of the Forrest.

The children had saved them from the dead and then led them deep underneath the heart tree. Jojen had been stabbed before they could reach safety though. His sister had tried to go back and save him, but it had been to late. Jojen was lost. Thankfully, the white walkers were unable to enter the cave beneath the heart tree though, as the magic that reanimated them had no power inside. So, after trailing through the underground tunnels on Hodor's back, they were eventually brought in front of the three eyes raven and some level of relative safety.

Over the next weeks, Bran was taught how to use his gift by the three eyes raven. Together they would go back and explore visions from the past. Bran had even found out that Hodor was once a young stable boy at Winterfell. As they continued to train harder, the three eye raven took them to the Tower of Joy, where, inside a young Lyanna Stark screamed as she gave birth. Silently Bran and the three eyes raven watched, as outside a young Ned Stark battled to the death with  two of the kings guard. Once he had defeated them, he ran into the tower. When Bran saw his father, he called out his name in a moment of weakness and desperation. In the vision, Ned seemed to hear him and quickly turned around, but the three eyes raven quickly ended the vision and once again they back inside the cave.

A few days later the three eyes raven showed Bran a vision of how the Night King came to be, how the children of the Forrest had made him into what he was. Something terrible had happened though, as they watched the man turn into the monster he was, the Night King was somehow able to intercept the vision and touched Bran on the arm. Once again, the three eyes raven quickly ended the vision and turned to Bran with worry.

"You are no longer safe here. With that mark upon your arm, the Night King will have knowledge of our location, the caves magic will no longer stop him and his army of the dead from entering!"

Within minutes, just as the three eyes raven had said, the Night King and three members of his army arrived outside the cave.

"You need to warg into Hodor. We have to get out of here!" Meera called out.

Instead of warging into Hodor, Bran entered another vision. Again it is at Winterfell and a young Hodor was seeing to the horses. Desperately, Bran entered the mind of the young Hodor as outside the vision, Meera and the children of the Forrest continued to battle with the White walkers. Using a dragon glass knife, Meera killed one of them, but in turn, they killed many more of the Forrest children.

Panicked, Meera tried to pull Bran to safety as he laid lifelessly within his vision. Finally, Hodor seemed to change, picking Bran up and following Meera deeper into the Cave and it's many hidden tunnels. As they continued to make their escape, the Night King entered the cave and killed the three eyes raven as one of the Forrest children, Leaf, continued to lead them to safety.

"Go, you must escape. Do not let the boy die. I will stop the dead from following!" Leaf ordered Meera.

Meera did not want to leave her, but they had no choice. As they reached the exit to the underground tunnel, Meera pulled the unconscious body of Bran out into the northern winter.

"Hold the door!" Meera screamed at Hodor as she desperately continued to pull Bran to safety.

Meanwhile, inside Bran's vision, he watched a young Hodor collapsed to the ground and began to have a fit, crying out over and over again.

"Hold the door!"

"Hold the door!"

"Holddoor!"

"Hodor!"

Bran unable to pull himself out of the vision from the guilt of seeing what he had done to Hodor, continued to lay unconscious. Meera, now far away from the cave, began her journey back to the wall with her unconscious companion.

"Do you love her?" Arya asked as she and Sansa followed Sandor around the courtyard at Castle Black.

"What girl?"

"Natari, why did you let her leave? I thought you loved her? I saw the way you both use to look at each other. She never even looked at Jory that way."

"Your sister is a strong-willed woman. She'll do as she wants. There ain't no reasoning with a woman like that," he grunted.

"But you do love here?" Sansa asked with a mixture of both disgust and surprise.

"Aye, for my sins," he sighed as he put his sword back in the weapons rack after a hard morning training.

"If you told her, maybe she would have stayed?" Arya added.

"Girl, I've told her plenty times before. She'll still go and leave me with the annoyance of you."

"I'm not annoying!" Arya grumbled.

"Do you think she'll come back?" Sansa asked softly.

"Aye little bird, ain't nothing ever stopped her from getting back to you two and there never will be. She'll be back."

"You know she's not really our sister right?" Arya asked.

"Girl, don't speak that out loud. Aye, I know, but you need to keep it to yourself, to keep you all safe," he commanded and grabbed the two girls and pulled them to the side.

"Is that how she survived the fire at Winterfell. With dragon blood?' Arya asked again in a whisper.

"I don't know about any dragon blood child. But I know you need to be careful, watch out for each other. Things are still unsure. You understand girls?"

They both silently nodded, until suddenly the horn at the top of the wall blew loud across the courtyard.

"Two approaching the wall. A girl and boy!" one of the watchmen yelled.
