Hospital

I just got some food from the McDonald's in here since the hospital food isn't the best, I sat in the chair next her bed. She still hasn't woken up but the doctor has come twice to check her vitals, I began to eat and check the gang group chat since they've been texting all night I just had my phone turned off. I scrolled through seeing them talking about the guest there but one of them caught my attention, Shawn said something about seeing Ken bitch ass. He and I been beefing since fucking college he been mad that I got a better business than him, he got locked up cause he got caught up and think I snitched him out but his workers don't know how to clean up after themselves.

I ate my food thinking of how he could have gotten in, I replied in the chat saying looking into him while her monitor started sounding different from its normal pace. I looked up seeing she was holding her stomach scrunching up her face whimpering some, I threw my phone on my bag while getting up to get a doctor "I need doctor Walt's." I said going to the make shift desk in the hall. The younger looking nurse nodded before picking up the phone as I went back to her room went to the side of her bed looking at her.

She started whimpering more and I rubbed her cheek as she was still sleep "It's okay baby, they're going to help you" I softly spoke as she leaned into my touch. The doctor came in and looked at me "Yes Ma'am?" He asked "She's hurting and the monitor is going off" I spoke as if it wasn't obvious. He looked at the monitor and then at her "We'll do a CAT scan, she might need to be cleansed again and hungry... I'll bring some nurses to help me roll her out" he spoke nodding some before walking out "Calm down mamas, I'm not leaving you" I spoke as her hand held onto my arm, I kissed her head rubbing the side of her neck as she whimpered and tightened her arm around her stomach.

The doctor came back so I took my hand away from her which she didn't like, he started rolling her bed out some and she cried out loudly making me bite my lip trying to hold myself back from going and comforting her though it wouldn't do anything to help her. When she was out of my sight I got my stuff and went to my car going to the trap, I pulled up and parked the car busting through the door "Start looking for FUCKING KEN!" I spoke yelling with anger evident in my eyes Tyrone turned and looked at me confused.

"Do it" I snarled walking to the master bedroom which is mine, I opened the door with my key and went to the closet getting the weapons I would decide to use on him. He was smart about his moves I'll say that but he took it too far, don't come for family no matter what the issue is. I stopped in the middle of laying it all the weapons down, and thought about what I was doing... She wouldn't want me to do this not like this.

I put everything up and walked out my room locking the door, I went downstairs and saw Tyrone typing "Text me the information and if it's an emergency call me on the eight." I spoke walking to the door "Yes boss" I walked out to my car and I was about to drive off when I got a text from Re'Nee talking about a conference I have to go to soon that's out of state, put my hands on the steering wheel closing my eyes before resting my head on it "The fuck am I going to do"

I got back to the hospital seeing the nurse back at the receptionist desk "She's back in her room asleep" she said nodding some so I went up to her room still holding my anger in. I got inside seeing she was still holding her stomach in her sleep, I stood at the end of her bed as her head rubbed against the pillow trying to get comfortable. I sat in the chair and the doctor came I guess the nurse told him "We had to do another cleansing for her, it appears the poison had spread more than we thought but after the CAT scan we made sure to get it all" I nodded.

"When can she go home" I asked "She can't she needs to stay for a few days so we can watch her body's response to the medicine we plan on giving her." He said "Okay anything else?" "She might have abdominal pain which will be normal, headaches, and refusal to eat some but after a while she'll be okay." He spoke "Thank you" I finally said "No problem I understand how it feels to watch the person you care for the most in pain, I'll make sure she in good health." He said nodding some before walking out.

I sat on my phone until she started moving and making noises, I got up going to the side of her bed "Calm down baby" I spoke running my hand through her hair but she continued to move so I grabbed her hand as her head turned some with a scrunched up face she groaned struggling some before opening her eyes a little "PicNic, baby" I smiled happy to see her eyes even though they were slightly dull and tired. "D-Daddy...why is it so cold?" She spoke quietly as I held her hand "Do you remember where you are babygirl?" I asked "The hospital?" She answered wanting to know if she was right.

I nodded and kissed her hand "I need to get your doctor" I spoke trying to get him but she wouldn't let go "Stay" she said holding my fingers "Baby I need to get him" "Please" she begged I nodded and pressed the button on her bed to get the nurse she pulled my hand some indicating she wanted me to get in bed with her. I took off my shoes and got in then picked her up putting her in my lap as she laid on my chest "Can you tell me who gave you the stuff at the party toot?" I asked as she played with the collar of my shirt "Kenny?" She said

"I think that's what he said his name was, I told him I wasn't supposed to go with strangers but he said you told him to come get me and that I could have a drink..." she added I rubbed her side some pulling her closer to me but she slightly whimpered "I'm sorry" I quickly spoke loosening my grip "It's okay daddy, I just want to be under you." She spoke holding onto me. The nurse soon came and checked her vitals "I'll ask the doctor to make his way here." She said and I nodded with a light smile.

Nika sat up and looked at me touching my face with her little soft hands, "When can we go home?" She asked and I rubbed her bare thighs since she only had on the hospital gown "You have to stay a few days.." I spoke and she frowned some "Am I in trouble?" She asked "No you didn't know NicNac, it's not you're fault." I spoke kissing her nose "Not there!" She whined so I smiled and kissed her lips. She held my face in her hands as her thumbs rubbed my ears "Mmm-hmm" she hummed smiling "I missed you're lips" she said blushing a little "I missed you" I replied as the doctor walked in.

"Ms.Maraj you're finally awake, we need to keep you here for further observation but right now you can just rest. We'll have some brought to you're room." He smiled "Can I get chicken nuggets?" Nika asked now looking at me I glanced at the doctor and he shook his head "Not right now kid, how about you eat what they have here." I said knowing her feelings were hurt as her curious face fell to a sad one frowning. The doctor made a sorry like face before walking out while Nic just stopped dealing with me and watching tv.

"Nika, come on" "No" "Babe I know you want to eat them but you can't it could make your stomach worse okay? I'll eat the food with you and when they say it's okay for you to eat that food I promise I'll get you whatever you want." I spoke pulling her back into my lap she huffed before letting out a slight attitude filled fine. I kissed her cheek to try making her smile but it didn't work so I just kissed all over her face she slowly started to softly giggle and blush so I tickled her making her cackle aloud while moving under my arms that were under hers.

"I love you toot" "I love you too daddy" she said smiling softly and laying on me with her arms round my neck and legs on my side. I kissed all over the side of her face and she giggle once again so I held her waist. This ain't gon happen again I promise that shit...
