Beyoncé's POV
November 18(12:15pm)

I've never loved being in traffic before but right now I'm enjoying it, I was getting myself lunch when Nika texted me asking if I could bring her food. I've already eaten mines and hers is just sitting here, we haven't had any real or full conversations since that night and I'm not bothered by it as much as I thought I'd be more so hurt but I'm not. I'm actually relieved from it, I've calmed down some and been more productive at work. She's been going out and things with the boy and hanging out with her friends since I obviously don't spend time with her.

After about five minutes the traffic began to move and as I began to drive again my phone rung connected to my Bluetooth I answered not looking at the callers I'd. "Hello?" I asked politely "Hey Bey" I heard the voice that is quick to ignite the burning anger with in me "Solange" I said with a complete change in mood "Yes, I was calling to see if you'd be making it to the thanksgiving dinner we're having in Houston" she said as my hands tightened on the creme leather steering wheel turning my knuckles close to the same shade. "We've already discussed this, I'm not going..." I spoke getting off of the freeway.

"Beyoncé please, it's been years since I've seen you. I just want to get to know my sister just think about it okay? I'll pay for your plane ticket and everything-"I don't need you to do that whether I was going or not, I'm not going Solange now if you'd excuse me I have things I need to take care of." "Can you just stop and give it a thought please? I'm trying to fix this so I can actually be able to have a real family instead of the thought of having a sister for so long and not even knowing her favorite color." She said and I thought to myself, Yellow and Gold. I paused before speaking "Goodbye Solange" I hung up and kept my anger inside deep inside to where I could feel my top layer being calm.

I continued to drive to Onika's school and when I pulled up I got out slamming the door and aggressively making my way to the doors, I signed in I heard someone make their way towards me. "Bey" I heard and I cut my eyes to the owner of the voice glaring before finishing signing in and standing up straight, "Whats wrong?" She asked as I looked past her for a second then giving her the food wanting to leave. "Nothing" I said but her eyes turned into a squint "When did she call" she said with a knowing face. I huffed before turning my sights down to the ground with slightly tight lips, "On my way here.." I whispered and growled some.

"How about we sit down and you tell me." She said with hints of hopefulness in her voice "I'd rather not, I'm sure your boyfriend has my old role covered." I said seeing him walk into view from the side where a stair case was near. "We barely started dating.." she whispered "Bey just come and sit, it's been a while since we've talk-"And it's going to stay like that.." I growled looking her in the eye

Omniscient POV

Onika was hurt, she's been hurting since Beyonce spoke the words that broke her character. To say her happiness was real would be a lie, she wasn't as happy as she let out. Everything she thinks about circles back to what Bey said, she doesn't want anything to do with her; Onika cried her eyes out that night knowing what she had down really did affect her in a way she wouldn't like. How her and August came together was something unplanned and still is, Onika never paid him any mind until he followed her on Instagram commenting and liking then it moved to her being informed of them working together in a class and him soon spilling his emotions to her about how she made him feel.

She was touched by his words so she decided to give him a chance and didn't think about Bey until after the fact, granted she did call and text that still wasn't enough for Onika. She wanted someone in the moment and he was that someone, and when Bey would call she'd just stare at it and zone out until it stopped ringing or when someone called for her; she knew she should have told the older woman who was once her lover but she didn't from the fact that she didn't see the importance over it. Her eyes rose from the ground her old lover stood on to the hazel eyes she knew all too well, they were dark but not in a friendly shade.
