Today's the day

I received this text from Sam just as my hair and makeup were being finished. I was sat at the vanity in Mom and Dad's room. I smiled at my phone before replying to him saying,

I cannot wait to be your wife. I love you so much, see you down the aisle. Dx

I then locked my phone and put it on the table in front of me as I was joined in the room by Holly and Mom.

"Oh Daisy, Daisy you look beautiful." Mom said as she came and stood beside me. She was already dressed, wearing a cobalt blue dress which curved to the shape of her baby bump beautifully. I smiled at her as she put Holly down beside me.

"You look really pretty Doodles." Holly said. I put my arm around her and she smiled at me, before the two of us looked at Mom in the mirror behind me. She smiled before having to wipe under her eyes with a tissue. "Are you gonna cry a lot today?" Holly asked her and Mom and I both laughed.

"Probably." she said before kissing the top of Holly's head. I then put in my earrings and put on my necklace, which was the one that Dad had given me when him and Mom had gotten engaged.

"Dais, I have something for you." Mom said from the other side of the room.

"What?" I asked her as I finished putting on my necklace. She walked over and held her hand closed in front of me.

"This." she said opening up her hand. Inside her hand was her Cartier watch. The one which she bought herself when Suits was picked up for a third season. On the back it was engraved with 'To M.M. From M.M.'

"Really?" I questioned and Mom smiled. She picked up my wrist from my lap and began to put it on.

"This will be yours one day, so it is only right that you wear it on your wedding day." she said once it was on my wrist. She then took my hand and kissed it before smiling at me.

"Thank you." I said to her before she stopped and smiled again. Olive, Holly and Poppy then appeared in the doorway, all wearing their bridesmaids dresses. I smiled, with tears in my eyes as the three of them walked towards me. The girls dresses were the same. They were short sleeved, mid length white lace dresses, with a cobalt blue ribbon around their waist, which tied into a bow at the back. Olive's dress was similar but longer, to the floor. Their hair was all done beautifully and I couldn't be happier that everything had turned out so well.

"Right we have got half an hour so I think we need to get this dress on." Mom said to me. I got up from the vanity and Mom and Clare both helped me into my dress.

My dress was white and lace, with long sleeves and a long train. The lace of my dress and of my bridesmaids had been created to make up the flowers that my sisters and I had been named after. There were also Sweet William's after Alfie, Forget me not's for Dad and Harry's Mum, wintersweets for Mom and Dad as well as lilies and roses from Poppy and Holly's middle names and the flowers which my charity houses had been named after Ivy, Violet and Daffodils, after the most recent centre in Cardiff. My hair had been styled around the tiara that I was going to wear. It matched my earrings, because after Sam had given them to me for my birthday, I wanted a sapphire one to match them. Mama had made this happen, a new tiara had been made from the sapphire and diamonds that had been held in her vault. They had been given to her by her father when he was alive and now she had used them to make a tiara for me for my wedding day. Everything looked and felt perfect, exactly the way I had imagined it all and when I went downstairs this was only emphasised more as Dad stood with Grandad and Grandma by his sides and Alfie on his hip. Dad and Grandad we both wearing formal blue suits, the same that Sam and Ollie would be wearing. Alfie had little blue shorts and a white shirt and he looked adorable. Grandma was wearing a navy blue dress embroiled with flowers all over.
