Harry's P.O.V.

I put my Gryffindor flag in the box and that was the last of everything. I was finally leaving the Dursleys. I didn't own many possessions, so I carried the one box of my stuff to the front door.

"Why's Harry leaving?" Dudley asked.

"He's moving out with his godfather," Petunia told Dudley.

"You have a godfather?" Dudley asked in shock.

I nodded.

"Goodbye," Vernon said.

"You can have that room back now. I'm just a waste of space, right Vernon?" I joked.

"I wish you luck in your future endeavours, boy," Vernon said.

Petunia stepped forward. "You know Harry," she said. "You didn't just lose a mother that night, I lost my sister."

I gave them a smile and walked out to wait for Sirius so we could apparate to his house.

"Hey, Potter?" Called Dudley from behind me.

I turned around.

"I... Never thought you were a waste of space," Dudley said, shaking my hand.

"Thanks, Big D," I said, shaking Dudley's hand.

"Ready to go, Harry?" Sirius asked as he arrived in the front yard.

I nodded.

"Take my arm, Harry," said Sirius.

I took Sirius's outstretched arm and we apparated to his house.

I looked around, it was a muggle street and it looked like London.

Sirius tapped the ground three times with his foot and the apartment building in front of us began to move and a darker looking house emerged.

I followed Sirius inside.

It was dark inside the house, the walls were mostly green and grey.

"So, you said you grew up here?" I asked.

"I wasn't here much. My family is related to the Malfoys, and you can imagine what that was like. My whole family believed in pure-blood superiority except for my brother Regulus. I ended up running away," Sirius told me.

"Where did you go?" I asked.

"Your Dad's, sometimes William's or Remus's. I was always welcome there," Sirius said.

I nodded. "So where's my room?"

"I'll give you a little tour," Sirius told me.

Sirius showed me the downstairs, which had a living room, a kitchen, another sitting room, and a dining room. Upstairs was three bathrooms and seven bedrooms.

"You can pick whichever bedroom you like," Sirius said.

I walked around and ended up choosing the room on the other end of the corridor, farthest away from Sirius, there was just something about that room that I liked, maybe it was the pictures of the Marauders at Hogwarts.

I put my stuff down and got to work on my room. When I had cleaned out all the cupboard and draws, cleaned away all the dust and grime, lit the fireplace and put my stuff up, it started to feel more like home.

Charlene's P.O.V.

"Hey, Mum?" I said, sitting down next to my mum on the couch.

"Yes, Miss?" Mum asked.
