"We should probably get ready," said Ginny. "I don't even feel that tired."

"After you pull an all-nighter, you feel really energetic but the sleep'll hit you soon enough. We all need to shower. Then we'll do each others hair and makeup," Mia said.

I lied back down on the floor and pulled my blanket tighter around me. "I can't be bothered."

"Come on, Char. We have Moody first up today!" Hermione said.

"I'd still rather sleep," I said.

"We all know how much you love to sleep but you need to get up. Do you want to walk into the hall this morning looking like you just woke up?" Mia asked.

"Don't care. At least then I can go straight back to bed," I said, closing my eyes.

"Once you get back in the swing of things it'll be fine," Ginny said.

"True," I said. "I'm hungry anyway. Bags first shower!"

I got up quickly, none of them expected me to do that. I ran to the shower and locked the door.

"Hey!" Mia scolded. "The rule is last up is last to shower!"

I laughed and commenced my shower, trying to be quick as to not piss them off too much.

When we were all done with our showers, we dried our hair and started getting ready.

We curled Hermione's hair and she didn't want to wear any makeup today so we went with some chapstick. I left my hair natural and did some mascara. Mia did some light pink lipstick, eyebrows, mascara and left her hair natural. Ginny wore some mascara and we tied her hair up in a ponytail. We put our uniforms on and went down to the common room.

I put my arms around Harry's waist and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Make sure she doesn't fall asleep on you," Ginny warned.

"Did you sleep last night?" Harry asked, putting an arm around me as we leaned on him.

"We accidentally pulled an all-nighter," Hermione said.

"How do you accidentally pull an all-nighter?" Fred asked.

"We just lost track of time," Ginny said.

"Come on, let's go have breakfast," Fred said.

After hearing the news about the age restrictions on the tournament, I'd pretty much lost interest. Fred, George, and Lee were discussing how they could bypass the Goblet of Fire, and at first, Ron and I were helping them brainstorm.

"Gee, Snape sure hates Moody. Almost as much as Lupin," Ron said, gesturing to the potions teacher who was eyeing Moody evilly. "He knows deep down that Moody's better for the job than him."

"I reckon Snape's a bit scared of him, you know," Harry said.

"I reckon you're right," said Mia. "I mean who wouldn't be. He's one of those people that you love and fear at the same time. You fear what you love about them and you love what you fear about them."

"What?" Ron asked.

Mia shook her head and continued eating.

I sat next to Hermione first lesson, which was Defense Against the Dark Arts with Moody.

"Put your books away! We won't be needing those," Moody said after taking the roll. "Hi everyone. I'm Alastor Moody. A.K.A Moody, A.K.A Auror, A.K.A Mad-Eye. You can call me any of those. I believe in a practical approach when it comes to teaching this subject. On the contrary to some of those in the Education Department at the Ministry, who think that a theoretical knowledge is sufficient for this subject," Moody said.
