"You always wanted to go to California, right?" Sidney asked you over dinner.

You lowered your fork and looked across the table to your boyfriend who wore a soft smile. The smile, the restaurant's warm light and the suit he was wearing worked so well together.

You nodded your head and reached for your wine. "Yeah, why?"

"Well," Sid's smile twitched larger. "This year's All Star Game is in San Jose and I would really like it if you came."

"Really?" You asked softly, giving him a big smile.

Sid nodded. "Really. I could use the love and support."

"I would love to; but, you don't need the support. You're the best one there. I promise." You whispered, reaching your hand across the table to his.

Sid's smile softened and he looked at you with complete love. "I love you."

You gave his hand a squeeze. "I love you, too."

Sidney wanted you to go to the All Star Game with him because he loved you and wanted to have you around him as much as he could. And he knew you wanted to go to California and that's where the game was, so when he wasn't at an event or game, the two of you could go for lunch and dinner and see California. He also knew that some of the players (who were not on the Penguins) that you liked would be attending the game and that it would really make you smile to meet them.

Sidney was not expecting for a certain player to flirt with you.

But, then again, you were the most beautiful woman in the world and he couldn't blame him for flirting with you... But you were his and he did not like that the other players were flirting with his girl.

You were hanging out in the hall while Sid was changing. You had your head up, just trying to soak it all in. You were a long time hockey fan and now you were in a building with the best in the world. You couldn't help but just stand there and smile as you watched some of the players just walk around, doing their thing.

You were so busy watching Erik Karlsson that you didn't realize someone had stopped and was watching you, resting on the wall opposite to you in the hall.

"Has anyone told you that you have a beautiful smile?"

You looked over to see Auston Matthews resting against the wall with a smirk. You felt yourself blush. "Sometimes." You answered.

"Well, it's true and you should hear that every day." Auston said before stepping across the hall, extending his hand. "I'm Auston."

"I know." You laughed, shaking his head. "I'm (Y/N)."

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." Auston said with a wink and you felt yourself blush once again. "So, what's a girl like you doing here anyways?" Auston asked, leaning on his stick.

You gestured behind you towards the dressing room. "Sid brought me."

Auston's eyes went wide for a moment before they darted between you and behind you and he swallowed. "Sid like Crosby?"

You nodded and opened your mouth to reply but a familiar voice answered for you. "Yeah, Sid like Crosby." Sid put his hand on your lower back and leaned in to kiss your cheek.

Sid was always so warm and kind with the young players, but there was nothing warm about the tone of his voice. You looked up at him and found his lips tight, his jaw clenched and his eyes cold.

You brought your hand up to Sid's chest and smiled at him, leaning up to kiss his jaw, whispering in his ear. "It's okay."

Sidney was a jealous type. He got jealous frequently over a lot of small things. And when he got jealous, he got possessive, and while you found it hot when he got possessive, you knew the All Star Games were not the place for it.

You pulled back from Sid and Sid looked down at you and nodded ever so slightly before looking back at Auston, who had taken a few steps back.

"I'll see you out there." Sid said with a smile, stepping towards Auston and extending his hand to the younger player.

Auston nodded and shook Sid's hand. Sidney held his hand for a moment and stepped forwards a little more to whisper to him. "And may the best player win."

Sid pulled back and gave him a smile before clapping him on the back and reaching out to you. You easily slipped under his shoulder and walked with him, leaving Auston standing in the hall.

"That wasn't very nice of you." You told your boyfriend.

"You're mine and I don't like it when other guys flirt with you." He said. "You're mine."

You shook your head with a smile. "I am yours, and you know that. There is no universe in which I would leave you for the likes of Auston Matthews, I promise."

Sid pressed a kiss to your head. "Good."
