~ A/N: All characters will be addressed by their GIVEN name (unless one character is addressing another), UNLESS it is not known. If their full name is unknown, they will be addressed by how they are in the show. ADDITIONALLY, the order of full names will be their GIVEN name, (middle, if any) then their FAMILY name.
LASTLY, to keep the overall number of students equal, my OC will replace RIKIDO SATO, due to his lack of screen-time, NOT DUE TO LIKE OR DISLIKE OF HIM.
P.S. THIS IS ALSO ON QUOTEV!!
Thank you! ~

Looking back, one could laugh at how cliché the situation was. A storm rained down mercilessly, thunder and lightning adding to the chilling effect. Puddles were present, amplifying the sound of heavy footsteps as they echoed down the alleyway. Each footfall sent a new shiver down the seven-year-old's spine. She hugged the thin fabric of her summer dress to her body, boney fingers nearly tearing through the worn material. Big dark eyes stared at the assailant, their owner's face pale as snow. The blade that dripped with a watery crimson liquid glimmered in the moonlight.
Like every cliché situation, the child was cornered. And like every cliché situation, a saving grace appeared. It took form of a small shadow, not much bigger than the child herself, on the other side of the assailant. It had a child's voice, too, though it was still distinguishable as male.
"What's goin' on here?" The figure asked innocently. Everything seemed to come a halt, holding its breath, as the large assailant slowly turned around.
Unfortunately, many memories are blurry. Like she is unsure how she ended up cornered, she is unsure what happened next, as the memory skips like a broken record.
She was still in the alleyway, though any trace of the assailant was gone. She stood beside a tall, thin man who acted as her guardian, her savior slouching in front of them. One of her hands clutched her guardian's sand-coloured jacket tightly.
"I thank you deeply, little one." Her guardian said, his voice slightly muffled by his mask. "You saved a life today. Some would tell this story as the birth of a hero. Although no one will tell it, we will believe it and remember you as the hero."
"Me...? A...hero...?" The young savior asked, brows furrowing.
"I am in you debt, hero." She said softly, eyes glued to him and sparkling despite the fear she had felt not five minutes before. "I owe you my life! I pay you back some day, okay?"
The savior's face lit up slowly until he shinned with glee. He gave a toothy grin and a nod. "Yes! Pinky pruhmise?"
The two reached out and locked pinkies.
"Pinky puhomise!" She tried to echo, giggling.
Sirens echoed in the distance, but went unheard by the two children. The guardian heard, however, and scooped up the little girl in his arms. Surprised and confused by being lifted up, she looked at the fully masked face.
"What wong?"
"Listen closely, little star. Do you hear them?"
The child savior watched the two, puzzled, as the female turned her ears to their surroundings. After a moment, she frowned.
"Bad guy sound?"
"Yes, it is. We really must be on our way."
The two looked to the savior. The guardian bowed, dipping his top hat, and the girl smiled brightly.
