As usual, when Hikari had time to waste, she lied on her bed in nothing but her underwear in order to keep cool in the city's heat. As usual, multiple fans blew against her gently from different angles. As usual, she could hear the gentle murmurs of voices in the bar.

Then the door to the building closed with a familiar squeak, groan and click that Hikari knew so well she could mimic it. Heart fluttering at the thought of Atsuhiro finally visiting after three days, the female bounced off her bed, yanked a t-shirt and shorts on then flung her bedroom door open. She nearly leapt over the railing as she tried to lean over it in excitement just for her mood to instantly drop into confusion and curiosity. Tomura sat at the bar with Kurogiri behind it, Giran stood at the door (which was strange) but there were two other odd figures she did not recognize. Knowing she should not eavesdrop, Hikari tried to force herself back into her room but curiosity had already planted its roots from her feet into the wooden floorboards. Since Giran was there, she was almost positive the two unfamiliar figures were recruits but it had been years since the last offer.

"Kurogiri," Tomura hissed lowly, poking a finger out at the others. "get rid of these two. I can already tell they're exactly the kind of trash I hate. A brat and a guy with no manners."

Kurogiri turned to him. "Now, now, Tomura Shigaraki. They came all this way, the least we can do is hear them out. Give them a chance. Besides, this broker is respected in the underworld; they're bound to be valuable assets."

Is that all they are to you guys? You're acting like they're trading cards! Hikari's lips pressed together in a frown.

"Like 'em or not, you still owe me a finder's fee. In cash." Giran took a drag of his cigarette and approached the two figures. "I suppose I could introduce the two of 'em before I go. This one looks like an adorable high school girl, right?"

Hikari crouched down to get closer, peering down. The shorter unfamiliar figure was indeed a high school girl, blonde locks sticking out of her two buns. Still, something about her made Hikari want to run back into her room and lock the door. Maybe add a steel door too.

"She's actually the suspect in a series of deaths where the victims all bled out. So far, her name and face have been kept out of the media."

The girl chirped happily. "Toga, here! Himiko Toga! Life is too hard. I just want to make it easier to live in this dumb world. I wanna be Mr. Stainy! I wanna kill Mr. Stainy! C'mon, handy-man, please let me join your League of Villains!"

Um, no, please don't-

"You gotta be kidding me. Is she crazy?" Tomura leaned backwards slightly.

"Well, she can hold a conversation. For the most part, at least." Giran offered. "C'mon, she could be useful."

He turned to the other strange figure. The burnt patches of skin that looked stitched to the normal skin made Hikari shutter.

"And this guy-hasn't committed any flashy crimes, but he's taken Stain's ideology to heart."

Great, maybe he can give us all an inspiring speech before battle.

"I don't like this." The male said lowly.

Me neither, dude.

"Is your group really dedicated to the Hero Killer's mission? I can't imagine you are if you're gonna let this little psycho join you."
