Only Way Out

Chapter 7 milk incodent

It's Tuesday morning during lunch period. As usual the midnight squad sits all together at the same table. Neil and Todd on my left sal on my right and Travis maple and chug in front of me. Everything is going great until I see ash. She's sitting alone again. It always makes me feel bad but I suppose if you're a jerk to everyone then nobody will want to sit with you....I guess I'm a nobody. I start to get up out of my seat.
"Where you going?" Sal asks
"Uh..." I say
"Well?"
"I uh...m more food?"
"Dude you have a full lunch you actually wanna go buy that garbage?"
"Just the milk"
"But I thought you were-"
I cut him off by leaving. Not wanting to honestly lie I actually get up and go get myself a carton of milk two actually. Then I go and walk up to ash and sit right down next to her.
"Hi" I say.
"Leave me alone" she says.
"I got you some milk"
"I said leave!"
I ignore her and hand the milk cartoon over to her.
"S strawberry?...I uh I actually really like strawberry..." she shakes her head "whatever just fucking leave already!"
"Na uh" I say while drinking my chocolate milk. Big mistake.
"The fuck?? Why?? Why are you actually being nice to me? It feels off. Why aren't you afraid???"
"Because I see-" Sal cuts me off.
"Larry what are you doing over here?" He says
"Just trying to-" he cuts me off again
"Just trying to what? Get yourself killed? You know how she reacts to people she doesn't like!"
"But I-"
"Larry I know you try to see the best in people but Ashley isn't one of them. Trust me"
Ashley just pulls her hood over her head.
"Now come on" Sal picks me up. That's when the milk kicks in. Not only do I vomit onto myself and Sal, but I vomit on ash as well. The whole lunchroom watches. Some people laugh. Some people are just in shock. Others are trying to videotape it. Thankfully before anything gets to insane, our group gets up and crowds us making sure nobody can see us in this terrible situation. Ashley, however left.
