Aaliyah POV

"Fuck ass no!" Eric shook his head as I won uno for the third time.

"Shouldn't have asked my ass to play cause you know this my game." I shrugged.

"Naw you ain't shuffling the deck no mo cause how you keep getting good cards every round?"

"Don't hate the playa, hate the game negro."

"You right I'm done playing. Gianni you can continue to get yo ass beat. I'm out." Eric said as he got up and headed for the kitchen.

"You tryna play another round?" I asked Gianni.

"Hell naw. I refuse to play with a cheater."

"Ain't nobody cheating." I said while laughing.

"Anyway I wanted to talk to you."

"About what?"

"You know the whole thing on Valentine's Day? I hope I wasn't too bold or nothing."

"Naw you good."

"To be honest I think we'd be better off as good friends. I know you tryna focus on yo siblings and shit and I get that, but I feel like we just vibe better as friends, ya know?"

"Yea I agree."

"Aight good."

"So since we such good friends, do you mind if I take yo car and get something to eat?"I asked.

He chuckled as he shook his head yes, " Go ahead."

"Thank you Gigi." I said as I quickly gave him a hug.

"Keep playing and I'm gone call 12 and tell them somebody stole my car."

Smacking my lips together I went upstairs to gather my purse and slides.

While in the car, I decided I wanted seafood so I headed to Angry Crab.

Omniscient

"Hi table for one please."

"Right this way." The waiter politely said.

Aaliyah was starving and looking at everyone's tables filled with bags of seafood made her even hungrier. She hoped that they would be quick with her food, but it was pretty busy so she doubted it.

"Here you are. And do you know what you will like to drink."

"A lemonade please."

"Okay, I will be back with your drink."

Aaliyah sat there glancing at the menu. She already knew what she wanted but she wanted to be sure.

Looking around, Aaliyah noticed a big family in smiles, laughing the day away. She always wanted something like that. Hopefully, she would have that in the future.

"Dave?" She questioned as she noticed him walk past her table.

He spun around giving her his infamous mean mug that he always seemed to hold on his face.
