"What you doing?"
"I'm making breakfast and there's some Tylenol and orange juice right there for your head." Jai pointed her hot pink acrylic nail over to the counter.
Last night had got way outta hand. After smoking they ended up drinking and that led to more sexual things that Dave did not want to happen. He felt as if he was messing up things for whatever he was creating with Aaliyah. Now, the dilemma: to man up and tell Aaliyah or keep it a secret.
"I'm gone get in the shower. Please be out by the time I get out."
"Really? Just like that?" Jai questioned. She just smoked him out last night and gave him something that his new girl was definitely not giving him. This was a ultimate betrayal.
Hearing a ringing iPhone from Dave's shorts, Jai turned towards him.
"That's her isn't it?"
"And if it is?"
"You are so selfish." Jai continued to rant while Dave headed for his shower. He was not about to explain himself with someone he was not with.
"Be out my crib. I'm serious Jai!"
After a long shower, Dave dressed painfully slow. He wanted to make sure that he wasn't going to run into Jai.
Leaving out of his bedroom, he walked in the kitchen to see it empty. Only viewing a plate stacked with breakfast and a note beside it.
I'm sorry I blew up. I just want to be something more to you and I hope we can fix this.
-Jai
Dave crumbled up the note, tossing it into the trash can. He could never and would never settle down with a girl like that.
Taking his phone out of his pocket he dialed back the number that had called him.
"Wassup Kamoni." Eric greeted through the phone.
"I haven't spoken to yo ass in a while."
"Nigga I know. But wassup?"
"I'm coming down there soon and I was wondering if you could hook me up."
"Of course. Don't even worry about it."
"Aight aight that's wassup."
"Since you the homie I'll give you some for free, but you gotta get me fresh." Eric rubbed over his forearm. He had been wanting to get his sleeve done for a while now and he knew his homie was the most artistic person he knew.
Kamoni owned his own tattoo shop and was good at it. Kamoni's family were proud of him and glad that he pursued his dream showcasing his amazing talent.
Eric had met Kamoni when he was in middle school. Kamoni was always looking out for him and considered Eric like a little brother even though they were only a couple of years apart. Their bond was like no other when they were together.
"Aight I'll hit you up later."
"Alright just let me know when you touch down."
"Fasho."
"Aye Aaliyah guess who coming down here soon?" Aaliyah raised her eyebrow trying to think.
