"What? Just say you gone miss me and I'll drop it." Dave pressed as Aaliyah sat on his couch. The morning Dave and Aaliyah FaceTimed, he somehow convinced her to come to his house whenever she wasn't busy. She was somewhat hesitant at first but eventually decided that she would come over but only for a little while.
"I don't hang with you enough to say I'm gone miss you."
"Stop fronting. But it's okay I'm gone fix that." Dave held a silly smirk on his face as he looked over at Aaliyah.
The pair had been FaceTiming a lot now and even went out to eat. Although, Aaliyah refused to call it a date.
It would be a lie to say that Dave hadn't got attached to little ole Aaliyah. He would miss her when he went on his trip to California.
Even though Aaliyah felt she would miss him, deep down she didn't want to admit it. Ever since she lost respect and hope for her mother, she had a hard time putting trust in new people. Aaliyah felt like she would get let down all over again and that's something she did not want to happen, at all.
"Can you hurry up and put on a movie?"
"You see something good?" Dave asked as he slowly scrolled through Netflix.
"Oooh what about that right there?" Aaliyah pointed to a movie by the name of How it Ends.
"Yea this look good." Dave looked over at Aaliyah.
"What?"
"I ain't starting the movie until you tell me you gone miss me."
"Stop playing." Aaliyah whined. Getting up, she headed towards Dave so that she could get the remote.
Dave stood up because he knew the height difference would interfere with her plan. He towered over her 5'6 body at 6'5 holding the remote all the way up.
"Daveee." Even with her jumping up and standing on her tippy toes, she still wasn't tall enough.
"Say you gone miss me."
"I really ain't finna miss your ass now."
Finally sitting down, Dave pulled her onto his lap and started the movie. The only thing is that neither of them were paying attention to the movie. Instead of watching the movie, the movie was watching them.
"Stop playing with me." Dave said as he looked in her eyes making Aaliyah feel so shy and little under his gaze.
"I'm not playing."
Laying back into the couch, Dave pulled Aaliyah back even further that now he was nuzzling his face into her neck.
She could feel his warm breath slither around her neck every time he exhaled. It tickled but she tried not to show it much.
"Say you gone miss me." Dave said as he kissed her neck.
Aaliyah closed her eyes and let her mind wander. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to let him in. Aaliyah thought.
