Omniscient

"Whose big ass house is this?" Aaliyah asked Eric.

She was thankful that he had took them somewhere to lay there heads at night but she didn't want her little sister to be up in one of his homeboy's house. All of Eric's homeboys were hoes and smoked all the time so she didn't want to put her sister in that type of environment.

"Gianni's house." Eric said with a shrug.

"He live by himself?"

"Yea. A little after his parents divorced they wanted to go live with their new families and they didn't want G to 'ruin it for them'." He said adding finger quotes.

"Damn."

"Yep."

"And he cool wit us coming ova here?"

"You realize I'm the oldest right? Not you."

"I came out before you nigga."

"First off the doctors lied to y'all I remember everything." Eric said as he grabbed his chest acting offended.

"I hope he ain't finna be bringing his hoes around while Savannah here."

"He already know the deal aight just chill."

"I hope so nigga."

Everybody unloaded out of the car and Eric went to get the bags. He refused to let Aaliyah touch anything.

Eric's behavior was so weird to Aaliyah, but in his mind he told himself that he would have to really step up now and look after his sisters.

Aaliyah POV

Surprisingly, this boy "Gianni" house was fairly clean. I didn't expect this because a lot of boys I know would never have they house looking like this at this age. He must got a girl.

"Aye Aaliyah, Savannah, this Gianni." I gave a closed lipped smile and a small wave while Savannah just stood there with her head down.

Mike touching her will forever be burned in her mind and for that I am truly sorry. I wanna blame myself for it even though I know it wasn't my fault, but just knowing that she will remember that for the rest of her life saddens me.

Bending down to her level, I told her that I would take her for ice cream tomorrow. It seemed like nothing I would do would cheer her up.

"Come on let's go find a room." I told her as I held her hand and led her to the stairs.

Gianni's house was big ass hell and from what E told me I would expect that his parents would have bought him an apartment or something because it seems like they don't care about him. His family gotta be rich. But as they say, money can't buy happiness.

"Y'all can pick any room. It don't matter." I heard behind me causing me to jump.

"My fault I ain't mean to scare you." He said as we laughed.

"You straight."

"Bro that's wild as hell. You look like a fine girl version of King."

"King?"

"I meant Eric my fault." He said as he rubbed his waves. He looked like he just fucked up and now I was really wondering where he got 'King' from.

"Where you get King from?"

"Oh um the niggas just call him King cause he always looking after everybody."

"Oh okay."

"Y'all hungry? I could go make some food if y'all want."

"If you want to yea that would be nice."

"She not allergic to nothing is she?"

"Nope."

This nigga had me shook. Fine as fuck, waves, nice, and clean, it's a man PERIOD'T. But even though he's the perfect combination, niggas aren't my focus right now. My sister is my main priority.

"Here Savannah, watch tv while we wait on the food." I said as I laid her down in the bed and pulled the comforter over her little body.

I began to unpack and before I knew it, it was already 4 am.

Abruptly, I heard a knock on the door causing me to look up.

"The foods done." E said.

"I ain't even know you was still up."

"I ain't know you was either until G told me to come get you."

Savannah was out like a light so I just turned off the tv and tucked her in some more. That little girl has been through so much and I just hope she makes it through all of this.
