ALEXANDER

I woke up the first night in New York with one objective in mind: to find Angela and stop her from attacking Sky again.

Justin was on the bed next to mine, groaning loudly at the sunlight peering through the white curtains. Clearly he was hungover from last night, seeing that he came in the bed hours after I did, stumbling and falling while walking to his bed.

"Please don't tell me we have a game today." Justin groaned.

"We have practice. First game is tomorrow." I got up from the bed and texted back my mother from last night.

He groaned again. "Elena is going to be so fucking pissed at me."

"Why?"

"I drank like crazy last night and did some dumb shit." He said. "Nothing with a girl. . . Just acted like a dumbass."

"Good luck, man." I said before going to shower.

While in the shower, I was thinking about Justin's and Elena's relationship. They had been together since freshman year, without any cheating or anything else to break them apart. A relationship in high school wasn't something I ever thought about.

My mind involuntarily went to Sky and what it would be like to have her as a girlfriend. Oh, how good it would fucking feel to claim her and chase away the guys at the school. To have her jump up for me and kiss me after a game I dominated and to finally make my dreams come true by undressing her and plunging myself between her thighs.

Here we go again.

I looked down at my shaft and saw that I was hard for her again. I had my phone on the sink that I could take to text some other girl to fuck. Perhaps Angela, or some other girl that was always so willing. The thought of it surprisingly didn't appeal to me, so instead, I dealt with it with my own hand, my mind swimming around with Sky in it.

After my shower, I went downstairs to get breakfast in the hotel cafeteria like everyone else. I spotted Elena and Justin sitting at a table with a few other cheerleaders and my teammates, but didn't see Sky.

I sat down next to Justin, who was clearly quiet after most likely getting an ear load from Elena. She not being discreet about showing her anger, giving him the cold shoulder and not talking much.

"Where's Sky?" I asked them, pouring the small box of cereal into my plastic bowl before pouring the milk.

"No sé." Judging shrugged.

Elena overheard me and spoke up. "She's not feeling well after last night."

I got up immediately to go see her but Elena stopped me.

"She told me to tell you not to go see her. She just wants rest." Elena explained and I sat back down.

I would be lying if I said that it didn't hurt a little. Perhaps she was angry about last night or even mad at me that I didn't defend her yesterday.

Fuck!

My eyes looked around the room and landed to Angela sitting across the room in the same table as Eric along with other guys from the team. She caught my gaze and waved at me.

I sent her a text to meet me outside and then got up to meet her there right outside the doors. As I waited for her, I started to think about Sky laying in bed mad at me or hungover. Either or, I wanted to go see her so badly to make her feel better.

"Hey," I heard Angela's voice say sweetly behind me. It was as if she was a stranger. I hadn't talked to her in a while, so seeing her made me feel really weird.
