SKYI woke up all tangled up with Alexander. His signature warmth was radiating off of his body and onto me.
I had no idea how I had gotten there, but I was laying on his chest and one of his arms were wrapped around me.
All I remembered was cuddling him while he vented to me for hours, and then feeling tired and falling asleep while holding him.
I was tired. It felt like I had a huge weight on my back. I had the feelings of Alexander, Layla and Caroline weighing on me. I was very compassionate, but it should not have felt like this.
Even if I was still in my dress and heels, I had the best sleep I've had in weeks.
Slowly, I untangled myself from him and sat up. I checked the time and cursed to myself when I realized that it was eight.
Alexander then woke up. His eyes opened wide, in almost a panic. He looked around until his eyes landed on me and relaxed.
"What are you doing? Come back to bed." He said, running his hand through his hair.
"I have to go." I told him, getting up from the bed.
"No you don't. Come back, Sky." He almost begged.
"I have work in an hour." I informed him. "Your mom was supposed to drive me back last night, but I fell asleep."
"You got a job?!" He almost sounded angry at this.
"I need to save up a bit, I'm going to Seattle in two months." I informed him.
He looked down for a moment, in thought, before he stood up from the bed.
"I'll drive you." He offered.
I smiled and followed him out to his car. We sat in a comfortable silence, as I just looked out the window.
It was still dark outside. The grey clouds were shielding the sky and it seemed as if it could rain anytime.
"Your house or your job?" He asked.
"My house, then my job." I grinned, surprised that I was cheerful again with him.
He let out a low chuckle and continued to make his way to my house.
"Come in, I'll just be ten minutes." I told him.
He followed me to my house, and it was quiet, with no blinds open.
"Your parents aren't home?" Alexander asked from behind me.
"No, Mark had a case in Colorado so my mom went with him. They'll be gone for the weekend." I told him, leading him to my room.
"You're staying here alone?"
I nodded, taking my towel and uniform and making my way to my bathroom.
"Come over to our house." He offered.
"Alexander, I'll be fine, really." I reassured him.
